FAST TRACK CIVIL ENGINEERING CONSULTANT
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER / ENGINEER
I am a 43 year old Construction Manager with a history of being part of the speedy and precise completion of a huge variety of Civil Engineering contracts where time constraints have been very important issues. I have a background in managing site operations, setting / laying out Works and organising manpower and materials. In the UK this has been on Freelance terms.
Size is no obstacle, and large Civils Contracts are preferred, especially ones where the whole range of groundworks, foundations, concrete structures and roads are to be considered. I was Project Engineer on two high rise apartment blocks in New Zealand and have a huge fast - track record on the construction and refurbishment of motorways in the UK noted in this CV as Lane Rental Contracts. I have used Primavera and Microsoft Projects for scheduling / programming of Works.
I set out to satisfy myself that the design aspects are achievable and that the manpower and resources are in place to complete the Works before using my man-managing skills and set out experience to enable the various trades to finish their duties. Excellent at motivating staff and an ideal communicator between Design and Construction teams.
