I am, 11years internationally (3Years in Gulf) experienced Claims Consultant/Surveyor from Quantity Surveying background and 32 years old Professionally Qualified Civil Engineer with enthusiastic in doing claims job from India and working in Qatar, looking for opportunity to work in challenging projects as a Claims Consultant with in Arbitration/ Dispute resolution /Claim Consultant organization where I can more effectively utilize my Claims Contract Law and quantity surveying natural and pursued knowledge's and experiences to become a one of the best claims consultant through progress of organization.

At present, I am working as a claims consultant with M/s. Khatib & Alami, which is one of the world top 100-design & consultant firms, in Qatar for projects G+1, 15 Schools and B+G+23 Residential / Commercial Building-Pearl Qatar for clients ASHGHAL & UDC respectively.

In present job I am working on behalf of Client, my main responsibility is review and finalize claims, avoiding claims, quantum analysis, prepare and submitting claims report with analytical and justification report to client, drafting contractual correspondence, attend meeting, liasing with Client & Contractor etc. In current school project, on behalf client, I avoid more than 80% claims from the Contractor.

As I came from Quantity Surveying background, I have mostly involved post contracts tasks in Claims, Contracts and Commercial in all sectors of construction works Civil, Architectural, Mechanical & Electrical. I have worked projects like individual Residential (Villa), B+G+21 Hotel Building, B+G+44 Residential/Commercial buildings, etc.

I have passed my 4years degree in Civil Engineering in India on 1997. In addition, I have taken special training in interpreting and applying FIDIC contract condition in claiming / avoiding variations and EOT and avoiding contractual issues that could cause loss or damage to the company. I am pursuing Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Law and Arbitration, uclan, UK and working towards to get CIOB and CIArb membership.

I am well versed in interpreting and adopting FIDIC and ICE contract conditions and POMI, CESMM and IS1200 Method of Measurements. I have been using computer software Excel, MSWord, AutoCAD, MSProject, Primavera, Power Point, QS Built Software like CCS, Algaritham etc. I can easily adopt to work in any form of Contract Condition.

As I understand me, in general, I swiftly grasp and identify the root of any technical issues and develop an effective claims report with required cost and time analyse. In natural, I have excellent interpretation, problem solving and decision making skills. In addition, I can able to deliver better result even in pressure situation, if required.
