PROJECT: NIGERIAN LNG SIX PROJECT BONNY ISLAND
SCOPE OF WORK:
Installation of Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Electrical Installations and Plumbing works in Substations
(SS) 6, 34, 35, 36, 37 and Field Auxiliary Rooms (FARs) 17, 18, 19.
Installation of air conditioners and general plumbing systems for wastes, fire fighting and water supply lines in
Nigeria LNG shutdown canteen, MSC workshop, MES (Mobile equipment store) and NCY (New Construction yard).
Including fan-coil units, duct works.
POSITION: QA/QC INSPECTOR (MECHANICAL)
Job Responsibilities:
Perform quality inspection activities on mechanical equipment, materials and packaged units on arrival at site and before installation, in accordance with Project Quality Plan and material specifications.
Inspection of HVAC tubing and general pipe installation.
Perform witness inspections and monitor setting, leveling and completion of packaged units.
Prepare Test packages for the pressure, hydro and gravity testing of Refrigerant, sanitary and water drinking lines. Inspect all ventilation installation such as ducts, gas tight dampers, blast proof valves, back draft dampers and various other accessories including completion/functional checks.

Inspect all plumbing works as regards to drainage, water supply and roof rainwater down pipes (both above ground and underground)
Log in for and Witness field tests and inspections according to ITP (Inspections and Tests Plan) and QCP (Quality control Procedures).
Co-ordinate all tests and assist the project manager in supervisory roles.
Give all quality reports and updates to the Quality Control manager.
Carry out tests on the split-units such as air flow test, fan and motor speed and make proper setting of the low and high pressure sensors and temperature settings.
Take part in on-site quality management audit
Inspect and record all measuring instruments; ascertaining their validity with the calibration certificates.
Inspect and co-ordinate the disinfection (sterisation) and flushing of portable water supply lines.
Take active part in the commissioning of all the HVAC units with the vendor.
Carry out Inspection with the Client and sign off documents.
Witness functionality and acceptance tests and perform final quality check prior to acceptance of equipment and materials as appropriate.
Witness and carry out noise level test, temperature and humidity tests
Prepare AS BUILT drawings for all mechanical and HVAC installation making sure that all documents were fully submitted to the client.
Prepare/collate data for final hand over to the client.
Clearing of punch items.
Represent ETCO as warranty Engineer for the HVAC units in SS34, 35, 36, 37 FAR17, 18 and FAR19 respectively.

PROJECT: SPDC (BONNY TERMINAL INTEGRATED PROJECT {BTIP}) TANK FARM
POSITION: Field Engineer (Piping)
Job Responsibilities:
Scheduling of work, supervising and overseeing work progress.
Help in coordinating various teams and assigning work to each foreman.
Collate data.
Take active part in general commissioning processes in the installation and Re-instatement of pipe spools, valves, gaskets, and various other fittings.
Carry out on-line inspection of lines to make sure that permanent gaskets were used where they ought to as well as making sure that bolts and nuts were coated with anti- rust materials (molycoat).
Hold daily meeting with mechanical fitters and other members of the crew.

COMPANY: CHICAGO BRIDGES & IRON (CB & I) BONNY ISLAND. SEPT. 2004 - APR. 2005
PROJECT: CONSTRUCTION OF TRAIN 4 OF THE NIGERIAN LNG BONNY ISLAND.
POSITION: Piping Engineer (Field Engineer Area 4 & 5)
Job responsibilities:
Hold daily S.T.A.R.T meetings and ensure maximum participation and safety application at site.
Liaise with the area superintendent in organizing, supervising and overseeing work progress.
Carry out scheduling of work for each week and for each foreman in both area 4 and 5 of Nigerian LNG train 4.
Collate data and give daily report of work progress.
Evaluate works in field piping and supports installation.
Give instruction to fitters on proper ways of bolt-ups, flange face alignments and personally supervise the installation of thermo wells, control valves and various other instruments valves
Inspect and coordinate the installation of on-line valves (such as ball valves, gate valves, Relief valves, butterfly valves, control valves, globe valves, check valves, etc) with own team.
Inspect and coordinate the installation of pipe supports (such as cold/special supports, trunnions, spring hangers/hangers, slide plates, brackets etc) with own team.
Take all field reports and discrepancies for generation of field inspection reports (F.I.R), field modifications (F.MOD)
or construction technical query (CTQ) depending on the situation.
Run field check of punch lists and sign off same when completed.
Coordinate and take part in the Hydro testing of pipes.
Request for materials from the warehouse and lay down area when needed in the field.
Attend to fitters and help in interpreting critical drawings.
Report work progress and daily liaise with area superintendent.
