Intro Statement
Key Work Experience covers a broad range of EPC project contracts administration experience gained over the past twenty five + years.
The focus of this experience is on the most recent 15 years with essential work experience being in the ¡¥interface role¡¦ within the construction contracts arena. Though hired under the umbrella of contracts administrator, recent work activities -since the Irving Oil Refinery Up-Grade billion dollar project (1999-2000) and through to and including the recent ExxonMobil contract and their LNG project in Qatar (2006), I have been performing multi-faceted ¡* Interface-contracts¡¨ business and project administration-advisory roles.
This interface activity is defined as the required face-to-face activities needed to ¡¥bridge¡¦ the contract administrative activities of the appointed EPCM contracts administrators and the processing of changes within the client project teams.

This proactive activity within EPC Project Contracts ¡¥interfacing¡¦ is what I do best! This complements an extensively broad based background career in the private and public environments where contracts and the subcontracting of key EPC project requirements play a critical role in securing success of large scale energy related initiatives.
Interface Activities (client -PMC to EPC Contractor) and advisory support services, undertaken under this broad based role have been that of ¡¥client representative¡¦ on project EPCM teams, with main responsibilities being:
(i) to research subcontractors facilities and fabrication yard capabilities,
(ii) to facilitate the overall EPC appointed project contractor and subcontractor - contract administrators activities -initiatives in their ¡¥subcontracts administration roles as this pertained to contract changes, client engineering / technical driven change request
(iii) to liaise with multidisciplinary project team members and provide advisory guidance to the EPC project contractor ¡¥procurement managers¡¦ in assessing local and international suppliers for field project site initiatives (local outsourcing-procurement) - within the EPCM teams and client management groups.
(iv) participate in project EPC Contract bid meetings, evaluation of subcontractor capabilities (site visits to modular plants facilities), travel internationally to meet with viable and selected suppliers to determine their commitment and understanding of the subcontracting parameters, and provide research guidance to alternate suppliers/vendors of equipment and project components to EPC Contracts Administrators and appointed Field Procurement teams to vet their selections against the main contract terms and conditions.
(v) liaise on behalf of both project client and project
