Having more than 12½ years of comprehensive experience (6+ years in Gulf) in Consultancy(Design) and Project Implementation involving Designing of Electrical Services, Tendering, BOQ, Estimates, Technical Specifications and Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Electrical Services for various projects in India and Abroad.

Job Responsibilities and Activities:
* Preparation of Design Basis on client's requirement considering the international and necessary local standards.
* Discussion with various local authorities for Electricity, Fire, Telephone etc for various projects prior to design development and approval stage.
* Electrical Power requirement calculations, Emergency Power calculations, Complete System design including space planning, distribution for MV, LV and ELV services, Equipment selection, Specifications, Single line diagrams and other drawings such as Lighting layout, Small Power layouts, FA and ELV system layouts.
* Co-ordination with other group departments such as mechanical / architectural / structural to ensure proper information and work flow.
* Ensure that environmental regulations and governmental regulations are abided with during the design phase of the project covering all aspects.
* Preparation of Quality Assurance plans to be included as part of the tender document and coordination with the client in compilation of the Quality Assurance for the tender.
* Review of the QA/QC program plans from the different suppliers/vendors and review of the test certificates of bought out items, type tests, Standard items etc.
* Witnessing the stage as well as final inspection of the items along with the consultant / client as and when required and preparation of the field quality program for the site.
* Co-ordination with the Client/Consultants for approvals of shop drawings, material submittals, valuations, variations, site matters etc.
* Review of the As Built drawings, Operation and Maintenance Manuals
* Review of the project completion schedule and monitoring of it on weekly, monthly basis and asking for appropriate measures to meet it as required.
* Routine site inspection for the ongoing works on site, Quality control, Resolution of site problems during installation, trouble shooting assistance.
* Co-ordination with the government authorities in getting the inspection done for the installation, approvals etc
* Provide guidance/support to other colleagues/Electrical Engineer/Designer/Drafting.
Work Experience:
1. Scott Wilson Ltd., Bahrain – (Multinational Integrated Professional Services Consultancy Firm)
Working as Senior Electrical Engineer – (Since October, 2008 till date)
Major Projects handled:
* Reef Island Development, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain
Presently working as part of the Design and Supervision Consultant Team for the Reef Island Project, Bahrain. It is a man-made Island having an area of 579,000 m² at a cost of around US$ 1.2 Billion comprising of 39 residential buildings, 65 villas, 49 chalets and a 250-room 5-star hotel & spa. The project will also contain an all-inclusive shopping mall, the most up-to-date Medical Center, six lavish parks, a private marina, a state-of-the-art Spa Village and a Yacht. Pentago Spowers International are the architect, Scott Wilson are the Engineer and Woods Bagot are the Interior Designers for the Project. The Maximum Demand for the development will be of the order of 45 MVA. (With District Cooling)
2. M.S.C.E.B., Bahrain. – (Architectural and Project Engineering Consultancy Services Firm)
Worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer – (November, 2003 to September, 2008)
Major Projects handled:
* Raffles City - Bahrain Bay.
Worked on the Concept Design Engineering of Raffles City on Bahrain Bay Development project having M/s Rafael Vinoly, USA as concept architect. Raffles city includes Retail Area, serviced Apartments, high/low rise residential apartments blocks and car park area. Scope involves estimation of the utility demand for all the Electrical Services which include Total Power, MV and LV Substation number and location, space requirement for the Low Voltage and Extra Low Voltage Services for various building. The Total Estimated Electrical load worked out to be 37 MVA. (With District Cooling)
* Bahrain International Airport Terminal Expansion - Phase 5
Worked on the Concept Design of the Bahrain International Airport Expansion Terminal Expansion – Phase 5 in Association with Jacobs, U.K. as the Main Consultant and Aedas, U.K. as Concept Architect for the project. Scope involves local support to Jacobs and coordination with the various local authorities/client, Detailed Engineering design to be done after the concept and design development design phase are frozen and approved by Client/CAA. The Maximum Demand for the Phase-5 of the development will be in the order of 32 MVA.
* Diplomat Office Twin Towers.
Worked on the Detailed Design Engineering of 30 Storey Twin Office Towers with 7 other floors for car parking accommodating 670 cars and having ground and terrace as recreational areas/commercial space. The project is for the National Hotels company being taken as Turnkey project by Malaysian company Chase Perdana. Scope involves Estimation of the utility demand for Electrical Power, MV and LV substation location, space requirement for Low Voltage and Extra Low Voltage Services complete including detailed engineering design for the project. The Total Estimated Electrical load worked out to be 12 MVA.
* Banader Hotel.
Worked on this 5 star, 30 Storied Hotel Project having Aedas, U.K. as the principle conceptual architect. The hotel includes multi-storied car parking, 250 hotel rooms, restaurant, health club and retail. Scope involves estimation of utility demand for power, space requirement for the MV, LV and ELV services complete including detailed engineering for the hotel facility. The Total Connected Electrical load worked out to be 9 MVA.( With District Cooling )
* Shaikh Isa Library and Conference center
Worked as part of the Design and Supervision Consultant Team for the "Shaikh
Isa Library and Conference Center" a 40 Million USD Government Project. It is a state of the art project having ARCADE, Egypt as the architect, EMDEG, Egypt as Building Services designers and KOCH, Germany as the Interior Designers.
The Total Connected Electrical Load was 7.5 MVA.

* Involved in the Quality Control for the Electrical Trade for 2 X 250MW
Units project at Panipat Refinery Thermal Power Station, Haryana (India).
4. GENETCO, Sultanate of Oman – (MEP Contracting Company)
Worked as a Project Engineer (Electrical) – (February, 2002 to January, 2003)
Project handled:
* Site In-charge and Coordinator for the M&E works for the Office of His
Excellency, Minister for the cultural affairs Advisior to the His Majesty The
Sultan of Oman for the cultural affairs involving complete electrical installation from foundation till handover of the project.
5. Mitsui Kensetsu India Ltd., Delhi. – (Multinational Turnkey Construction Company)

* Worked on the turnkey project on behalf of the client for Hongo factory at Greater Noida, an ancillary unit for Maruti Suzuki making Moulded plastic products for Maruti Suzuki including Production facility, office block, service block and Car park area. The project had 33KV Switchyard, 33KV Panel, 33KV Stabilizer, 2Nos. 500KVA transformer 33/0.433KV, 3X380KVA DG sets, LV Distribution Panels, Capacitor Banks, AMF Panel, Synchronization Panel, General, Industrial and External lighting, Fire Alarm System, Telephone and Computer system, Earthing, Lightning Protection etc.
* Worked on the turnkey project on behalf of the client for Morriroku
India factory at Greater Noida, an ancillary unit for Honda including Production facility, office block, service block and Car park area.
