A highly gifted and enthusiastic geoscientist with experience in field work, identifying sedimentary facies from core material and well logs, diagenesis in siliciclastic rocks, sequence stratigraphy and stratigraphic correlations, conducting geological surveys, construction of field maps and extensive experience with several Lab-technics (e.g. using of SEM-equipment).

Education
* September 2002: BSc in general geology from University of Copenhagen. My BSc-project was done on the deltaic Cretaceous Atane Formation, West Greenland, and involved interpretation of the sedimentary succession from core material, and diagenetic anlyses from thin section material.

* January 2005: MSc in geology/sedimentology with good grades from University of Copenhagen. My Master project was done on Jurassic sandstone reservoir located offshore the Mid-Norway Continetal Margin (Title of thesis: "Sedimentology, Sequence Stratigraphy and Diagenesis in the Middle Jurassic Garn Formation, Halten Terrace, Mid-Norway Continental Margin: an integrated approach"). It was supervised by Dr. N. Molenaar, Technical University of Denmar and Associated Professor, G. K. Pedersen, University of Copenhagen. The work was based on core material, well logs, and thin section material kindly provided by Statoil, Norway, and during my work I had the opportunity to interpret the connections between sedimentary facies (interpreted form core material and well logs), sandstone petrology and diagenesis, and how they affect reservor properties.

Attended and completed master courses at the University of Copenhagen

* Sedimentary Geochemistry (english): The course provided information about the gochemical processes relevant to sedimentary environment, from weathering processes, through to formation of rocks by exploring i) the importance of the various geochemical processes such as: precipitation, dissolution, ion pair formation, adsorption, desorption, redox; ii) the effects of such parameters as composition, temperature and pressure; iii) the basics of thermodynamic and kinetic approaches; iv) the advantages and limitations of macroscopic investigations and molecular-level observations; and v) the assumptions required for interpreting laboratory or field data and the results of geochemical speciation modeling.

* Clastic sedimentology: Facies analyses (interpreting sedimentary structures and depositional environments), 3-Dimensional facies geometry and sedimentary architecture. The course involved two field-excursions to Bornholm, Denmark and Skåne, Sweden.

* Dynamic Stratigraphy: The course consisted of three speciel topics; 1) cyclostratigraphy, 2) sequence stratigraphy and 3) paleoclimate and oceanography and involved introduction to Milankovitch cycles and other climate or orbital cycles and how the affect the depositional record, a sequence stratigraphic field course on bryazoan chalk beds at Stevns, Denmark, and numerical modelling of oceanic palaeocurrents.

* Basin structure and Seismic interpretation: Introduction to reflectionary seismic, geological interpretation of seismic data (seismic stratigraphy), sequence stratigraphy, depth and thickness maps, interpretation of 2-D data on work stations (data from NE-Atlantic and Danish part of the North Sea).

* Bore hole logging: Introduction to ordinary log types and practical interpration of logs on work station as well as tying well logs (gamma, sonic and density) to a known stratigraphic section of the Danish North Sea area.

* Advanced Palaeontology: Extensive introduction to palaeobotanic, vertebrate palaeontology and invertebrate paelontology.

* Field course: 2 weeks field course at the swedish island Gotland comprsing palaeoecological and biostratigraphical studies.

Other qualifications

* Experience with SEM/EDS equipment.
* Extensive Lab-work.
* Excellent computer skills, data processing.
* English and German (Danish, Swedish and Norwegian) fluent.
* Superb teamwork, communication, multi tasking & organizational skills
* Remarkable ability to synthesize and integrate technical data from different sources.
* Familiarity with optical microscopy and x-ray diffraction techniques.
* Ability to integrate a variety of data and information into an exceptional and regional interpretation of the subsurface.

Relevant working experience

* At present working as a geologist/sedimentologist at Geotechnical Firm in Denmark (Geosyd A/S), where I am responsible for all gelogical/sedimentological interpretation of recovered core material, conducting geological mapping and surveys, making 3D geological models of areas of interest, combining data from core material, geophysical logs and existing maps, and I am responsible for the Companys Laboratorium as well. Current (and expected) salary: 5000 £/month.
