This is a large project of development and build of proposed Thi Vai International Port comprising two (2) numbers of multipurpose berths for 80,000 DWT vessels including ancillary facilities. The total investment for this project is about 160 million US dollars.

The project will be built on the area of 5613.3m2 with maximum a 30-storey building and 2 basements. The proposed density of construction is 35%.

Duties
* Study the research report of apartment market in specified location of project in particular and HCMC in general.
* Learn about the feasibility of the proposed development project based on market demand and supply, assumptions and SWOT analysis.
* Study in identification of risks that might happen in project and then provide mitigation to those risks.
* Study about project financing plan where defines major financial indicator in project investment.
* Study the project cost estimation and sensitive analysis of the project cash flow.

09/2007 BRILLIANT CHIP INTERNET SPACE PROJECT
A commercial and technical support services building comprises 9 storeys and 1 basement is built on an area of 2,000m2 at Lot T2-4, High-tech Zone, District 9, Ho Chi Minh City

Duties
* Manage project in pre-construction phase including preparation of master program and tender documents.
* Coordinate all design tasks with relevant parties who will be in responsibilities for checking design.
* Plan for how to undertake piling test at the construction site before mass piling activities should carry out.

08/2007 PHUNG KHAC KHOAN COMMERCIAL BUILDING
This is an office building has 09 floors including 01 basement. The net floor area of the building is 2762.1 m2.
Duties
* Make proposed method statement for soil investigation which defines necessary tasks should be undertaken in order to provide a reliable results for piling foundation design. It also provides cost estimation and time duration for soil investigation works.
* Prepare concept design report which integrates architectural, civil and structural and MEPF engineering
* Collect all necessary documents for obtaining concept design approval from construction department.

08/2007 PROTRADE – HACOTA COMMERCIAL CENTER, OFFICE AND APARTMENT BUILDING PROJECT
This building is located at 08 Nguyen Binh Khiem Street, Dist. 1, HCMC. The development is built on the area of 4,118m2 with a 30-storey building and 2 basements. The estimated completion date will be in 2009.

Duties
* Develop master program which describes activity sequences and duration, allocation of labor, and availability of resources. This provides regular monitoring of the schedule as project progresses. It can help identify potential variances between scheduled and probable completion dates. Ensure that corrective action will be done to meet original targets.
* Liaise with project Client to initiate processing of changes in design, extra work orders and extensions of time. Help project manager to specify changes versus with original scope.

Project management skills

* The 02 (two) year master program of project management in Australia plus 07 year working experience provides me much comprehensive and intensive understandings in project management field. I have involved with three core areas in project management like project schedule, cost and quality management. Furthermore, project management skills give me an acknowledgement about integration in other areas such as risk, quality, human resource, communication and procurement management.

* I am quite familiar in using Microsoft Project application in project planning which was a powerful tool that is supportive in control the progress of any type of project. * Experience in real estate financial analysis for several development projects in Ho Chi Minh City, which scope of works is collecting data and doing the analysis on cash flows, then making decision for project investment based on the net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR) and risk sensitivity analysis of the project. Such financial analysis provided me a comprehensive view as well as empirical exercise in finance such as debt, equity, share price evaluation and portfolio management.

* My leadership skills are utilized every day in organizing my team in construction projects. My leadership skills enable me to observe and ensure that tasks were completed on time, within budget and with a high quality. Throughout the project, I both keep working closely with my subordinates and giving advice to consultants/contractors when needed. My approach was to give the contractors instructions when there would be some changes that effect project deliverables in terms of schedule and cost. I took time daily to discuss and resolve any conflicts that happened during the project implementation such as misunderstandings between team members or lacking of cooperation sense in working.

* Leadership skills also reflect in ways we are planning for project milestones and deliverables. All setting targets in project have to be discussed and agreed by all involved project members ensuring all of them would be aware. For example, leading role is to prepare and assess all planning, design and pre-tender construction program as well as implementation alternatives and regularly update the Master Program for the design, documentation, tender, construction and commissioning of all stages and communicate to all parties.

Communication skills

* Communication abilities were developed and tested while being in those past projects and Australian university through the master degree courses. It is required to efficiently establish a communication structure on specific contexts allows all involved parties smoothly communicate and quickly exchange information within project. They are about Co-ordination with the Client and Architect to optimize the overall development design, Co-ordination with Architect to obtain the approval of concept design and liaison with and provide M&E and Structural design information to Architect for the detailed design.

* I find that communication is very critical to success of the projects, I keep concentrating on information flow that ensure every project member keep informed about project status and aware about project objectives and its deliverables.

Organizational skills

* It has been almost 09 years both working within construction projects and studying in oversea environment, organizational skills are also tested. It is an instance of how to build a good team and select most appropriate person to a given position in projects.

* Carrying out weekly and monthly meetings and gather project progress information was necessary in order to meet Employer expectations. The above mentioned tasks involved organizing, preparing and conducting meetings with all individuals or stakeholders relevant to the project. It was necessity to ensure meetings produce useful information and expected outcomes.

* It is also worth mentioning about arrangement and organizing works with the consultancy teams, the preparation of architectural, engineering and any other documents, specifications to be sufficient and proper for the purposes of obtaining any necessary consents and also approvals from the relevant Authorities.

Interpersonal skills

* During studying time at the University of Queensland, time was spent for discussion and completion of group assignments. This tested and certified for the ability of working with many other people and in group.

* Project employments since 2001 have additionally developed my interpersonal skills and personal relationships to many people in different organizations like contractors, subcontractor, consultants, suppliers and public authorities available in the market.

* Have a broad liaising networks with multi project stakeholders in Vietnam would help me to obtain good project deliverables.

English fluency as it is not only required language in communication at university while studying in Australia but also still in using at workplace at present.

I am computer literate and able to use a wide range of computer skills which I gained during 12 years of working and studying with computers. They are Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power-point for supporting my reports, presentations, analysis. Furthermore, Microsoft project is useful and powerful tool in project planning that is much familiar to me.
