Progress Monitoring and Reporting:

Cost Control:
* Ensure that the costs from the ¡* as-sold¡¨ bid cost summary are broken down into the standard Work Breakdown Structure line items; ensure that budgets and the chart of accounts are distributed and explained to the budget managers.
* Ensure that the budgets are controlled before the cost commitments are made, and the commitments are tracked once they are made.
* Participate in critical procurement and subcontract evaluations and negotiations to ensure cost, cash flow, warranties/guarantees and schedule requirements are adequately addressed.
* Assist the Project Manager in making ¡* make or buy¡¨ and ¡* subcontract or do it yourself¡¨ decisions.
* Ensure that corporate treasury is involved before any foreign currency transactions are committed to and they are kept informed about all foreign currency commitments as they are made.
* Ensure that the cash flow projections are done accurately and on a timely basis.
* Ensure that the costs are being continuously collected in such a manner that feedback to estimating is possible at any given point of time.
Forecasting:
* Ensure that the profit and cash forecasts are accurate and timely.
* Always be ¡* forecast conscious¡¨; ask the question ¡* how does this event affect the forecast?¡¨

In addition, evaluating cost & schedule impact for all variances (site queries, technical queries, Supplier Concession Requests (SCR), Request for Waivers (RFW), design document change notices & revision orders). Clear articulation of financial control and reporting issues
* Ensures that the changes which are to be compensated by the client are taken up promptly with them & ensuring that we get fairly and adequately compensated for the same.
* Ensuring all commercial issues associated with the contract are administered & closed out in a timely manner, & all claims have been fully & completely documented & submitted for processing. Ensure all commercial reports that are required to be prepared by us under the contract are prepared for submission in a complete & timely manner. Identify any potential commercial problems with the contractual performance of the project & prepare reports outlining such.
* Ensuring that progress / invoicing is agreed on a monthly basis internally & with the client; prepare, issue & follow up invoices with them on a timely basis as defined by corresponding contractual criteria.
* In addition, correspondences / invoice observations / letters / notices / e-mails between the client & us are appropriately replied to & logged for easy retrieval.
* Ensuring that contract requirements with respect to invoices from vendors / subcontractors are adhered to & providing all copies of said invoices in accordance with the billings format.

Project: Dolphin Energy Wellhead Production Platforms
Project Scope of Work included Engineering (inclusive of FEED Endorsement), Procurement, On-shore Construction, Pre-commissioning & Commissioning & Offshore Installation, Hook-up / Commissioning of 2 Wellhead Platform Complexes (DOL 1 and DOL 2).
Key responsibilities included:
* Ensuring the on-time delivery of materials, goods, services & related or supporting documentation, in accordance with the purchase order / subcontract agreement requirements to meet the projects construction & fabrication schedules
* Ensure goods & services purchased for the project are delivered to their final destination as contractually required, to meet current schedules & prevent delays that could have lead to increased costs, poor quality or loss of our clients¡¦ satisfaction.
* Main point of contact between vendors & subcontractors during the initial, execution & final stages of the purchase order / contract agreement
* Setting up Kick-off meetings (Ensuring suppliers & subcontractors are aware of project inspection requirements, project documentation deliverables, formats, communication channels)
* Analyze vendor & sub-vendor production / fabrication schedules & monitor progress. Report on progress of the order, detect, investigate & report problems or delays (due to technical, commercial or other) to senior management & highlight what corrective action was recommended to the supplier at that point.
* Conduct weekly meetings with clients on material / equipment progress & delivery.
* Update & maintain Procurement Plan, Expediting Plan & Supplier's Concession Request Register & Vendor Pre-qualification Packages
* Local & International travel to vendor facilities to ascertain order progress, discuss & close out pending technical / commercial issues or problems for resolution in a timely manner
* Review inspection reports & assist QA/QC dept in obtaining a resolution to ensure that QA/QC issues (SCR¡¦s, NCR¡¦s, RFW¡¦s, WPS¡¦, WPQR's etc) are resolved in a timely manner in order to maintain delivery schedules.
* Expedite supplier data & documentation & distribute to the various disciplines in accordance with distribution matrix.
