I am a Construction Health and Safety Professional within my own company of O.T.E. Safety Solutions Inc. I am currently searching for a long term employment opportunity in the health and safety profession as a contractor or within a company domestically or abroad.

As a tradesman, I have been involved with many successful projects over the last 20 years. Supervising, mentoring and team leading is an attribute as I am a Journeyman tradesman who has had the opportunity to teach, coach and mentor many apprentices over the years and as an HSE professional for the last 7 years having worked on several projects in B.C. and Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Middle East, have used the same knowledge and approach in teaching others in how to improve safety compliance and at the same time taking the time to learn from others.

Being a proud third generation tradesman, I have taken these skills and applied this to how I achieve my success as a Health and Safety Professional. I have gained extensive construction knowledge and experience in light and heavy industrial and commercial settings including but not limited to, Petro Chemical Refineries construction, Power Plant, Gas storage, Pulp and Paper Mill, and most recently Wind Mill Construction. This includes shutdowns, commissioning, turnover and maintenance projects.

I am continually upgrading my education in Health and safety and I am currently taking steps to start my OH&S certification. I also aim to complete my CRSP within the next 2-3 years.
I am confident that given the opportunity for an interview, your organization will find that I am very easy to work with, friendly, energetic, honest and passionate for the safety of our co-workers.
