My Career Objective

Having worked in human resources function for the last 6 years I have progressed very well in people management. I now handle 1200 employees. I have excellent management, negotiation and motivational skills giving all of the work force the guidance, support and an experienced view of how they should deal with meeting their objectives hence enabling the company to move forward and achieve its ultimate goal. I am an excellent communicator and am able to communicate at all levels from top management down to factory floor. Over the last 2 years in my current position I have managed to reduce staff turnover by 95 %. My main goal now is to move into more of a board level capacity offering guidance and experience on a more day to day running of an operation.

My Ideal Company

The ideal company I am looking for must have a no holds barred philosophy and foresight for the future. Ideally this would be within the commercial or service sector rather than personal lines but I think that my management experience would be beneficial to both operations.

My Interests

I am a very keen volley ball player. I play on a social as well as business basis. I thoroughly enjoy Listening to dance hall music.
Availability: I am currently under Limited Duration Contract in the construction phase of the Kayelekera Uranium Project and would be available at any point once I serve one week notice.

My current position involves managing a work force of 910 employees under the construction phase of the Kayelekera Uranium Project. My main role within this position is the responsibility of planning, directing and coordinating human resource management activities including devising and implementing coherent HR policies and strategies whilst improving internal processes and procedures within a demanding environment, project deadlines and budget. I am responsible to the Operations Manager.
