General Job Functions and Accountabilities
Develop, implement and manage all aspect of project management as project controller, project planner, project manager, site manager, and site engineer with skill in marketing, cost estimation, budgeting and scheduling, contract management, subcontracting activities, quantity surveyor and cost control based on contractual terms and conditions to carry out effectively and efficiently in accordance with company requirement and procedures. Comprehensive knowledge for all aspect of steel and concrete structure, pipe works, infrastructure, building, general process of fabrication and installation, treatment plant and hull construction / conversion.

Project Manager:
* Responsible for the achievement of all project objectives
* Liaise with the Owner directly in all matters pertaining to the contractual requirements of the contract
* Manage the project within budget and on schedule while ensuring acceptable quality as well as maintaining high safety standards
* Lean, define, plan control and close the project
* Direct and manage individuals and departments to achieve project goals
* Pre-empt problems ahead and implement corrective measures for the successful completion of the project
* Carry out project review and cost analysis upon completion of the project
* Provided on-site management and quality control to ensure projects met time and budget requirements, and were built in accordance with contract documents
* Negotiated subcontract agreements, purchase orders and general contracts with subcontractors and suppliers

Tender / Cost Estimation:
* To prepare marketing and business development strategies for construction project from market research and data, project segmentation based on ongoing, potential or future biddings.
* To prepare product budgets for project construction.
* To prepare Bid Approval Justification for every tender receive for Management decision whether to bid or not.
* To prepare and submit pre-qualification for construction project to non-key accounts.
* To assist in developing construction project pricing strategy and establish current price trending for benchmarking purposes.
* To prepare, compile and submit quality bids deliverables for construction project on time and follow up (clarifications) until secured.
* To participate in the negotiation of construction project bids.
* To assist and coordinate existing clients / potential client visits, discussion and assist in yard / site tour for construction project / activities.
* To carry out any other function as assigned by Director Board (Marketing and Engineering Department ) from time to time.
* To collect and analyze data for market research purposes.
* To maintain a data bank on clients for marketing purposes.

Commercial and Contract Management:
* To study the potential clients requirements and propose the best option for them.
* Review price and proposal before submission, identify and recommend option for client.
* Prepare documents related to tender submission.
* To be involved in the technical and commercial negotiations and clarifications.
* To review the contracts before signing to ensure that the company's interests are protected.
* Upon award of contract, to initiate all the related documents.
* To monitor the progress of each projects and responsible for progress claims and any other related documents.

Quantity Surveyor:
* Establish the final re-measured quantities - for Structural Steel Works, Piping Works, E&I Works, Concrete Works, Accommodation and Architectural Works - based on the actual job done on site or based on the as-built drawings to obtain the variance quantities against the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for Final Financial Statement.
* Settlement / reconciliation of all quantity for the above mentioned discipline.
* Maintain records and track BOQ Measurements (Bill of Quantities) / MTO (Material Take Off) according to the approved drawings.
* Assessment of Contractor's submitted Application for Variations Claim ( Change Proposal )
* Estimating of quantities based on the "Approved for Construction Drawings" and placing the order of the required materials.
* Comprehend monitoring of changes i.e. quantity tracking, cost measurements, progress invoicing as well as identifying them with regards to contract agreement.

Cost Control / Cost Engineer:
* Liaising and managing with Owner's all Project Commercials and Quotation follow up in the project.
* Liaising and managing Sub-Contract work with various Sub-Contractors.
* Established Master Costing and revenue report for the project.
* Comprehend monitoring of changes i.e. quantity tracking, cost measurements, progress invoicing as well as identifying them with regards to contract agreement.
* Managing and troubleshoot all the procurement related issues so as not to jeopardize the progress of the project.
* Maintaining, protecting and progressively improving the Commercial margin of the project for the Company.
* Verify subcontractors' interim and final payment applications in coordination with the site discipline engineer; present them for the further approval of the Cost Control Manager.
* Identify Potential cost savings from Change Orders/Re-measurement claims from Contractors.
* Constantly monitoring of project cost and control of the actual expenditures against the budget by reviewing the quantities and rates before awarding a particular job to subcontractors and vendors. Coordinates with the discipline engineers for any possible ways.

1. Select 'Industries', 'Categories', 'Education', and 'Experience' fields. Click 'Search' and look through results.
2. Enter one or two of the most important keywords. Click 'Search' and look through results.
3. To search within results add more keywords.

How can I find resumes that contain specific exact phrase?
To search for an exact phrase, just put quotation marks around two or more words, for example "mining engineer". Use this feature to narrow your results or to find words that can be typed differently, for example AutoCAD "Auto CAD".
