I am a Senior Quantity Surveyor experienced within Civils and Building sectors. My Career started with O'Rourkes Civil Eng. as an Assistant QS working on the development of the Arrivals/Departure lounges at Heathrow Airport, as part of my Bsc.(Hons) Commercial Management degree at Nottingham Trent University. Post Graduation, I accepted a position within the Rail sector, working in an Alliance with Railtrack & Edmund Nuttall Ltd as the PQS on behalf of Franklin & Andrews. After a successful time with F & A, I worked on a freelance basis for a number of small subcontractors. In June 2005, I decided to broaden my experience and accepted a position with Taylor Woodrow Developments. After 2 years with Taylor Woodrow, I moved to a much smaller house builder McInerney Homes, for a greater challenge. Market influences forced my final move to Grant Rail, working back within the rail sector in civils.
