PRESENT EMPLOYMENT:

Working as an Estimation Engineer – Electrical from March 2009 in Arabian Controls and Switchgear (Channel Partner for ABB, Germany and Schneider Electric), Al Malki Group of companies, Doha, Qatar

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Estimation & design of electrical installation works, such as electrical panel boards and Motor Control Centers (MCC) according to NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association), and IEC (International Electro technical Committee).
* Ability to convert enquires into orders by reviewing the tender documents, drawing, Specifications and calculating the raw material weight accurately.
* Analyze and prepare B.O.Q. & Rates, read detailed drawings, prepare bill of amounts, prepare and follow site Po's.
* Making of Discrimination (Selectivity Study), the Short Circuit Calculations for Low Voltage Distribution Networks.
* Study the specification and drawings given by the customer and clarify any technical mistake observed and rectify the same in coordination with customer and the sales team to meet the customer exceptions.

PAST EXPERIENCE:

1. Worked as an Estimation Engineer – Electrical from July 2008 to Feb 2009 in Dubai masters Electromechanical LLC Group of Engineering Contracting Company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Preparation technical proposal documents like manpower histogram, equipment schedule, construction schedule, work procedures and to ensure the Company is positioned to win and secure the bids.
* Preparation of tender cost summaries including equipment, materials and labour calculations for final approval.
* Periodic analysis of price realization of product. Accordingly changing the pricing strategy with respect to the market response.
* Interpret and follow Company tendering processes and procedures to ensure all aspects of tenders are met including relevant discipline codes and standards
* Interpreting & review system drawings to identify any difference to tender requirements and raise queries against specification
* Prepare and generate Bill of Quantity against system drawings to ensure alignment and to identify materials types & quantities and prepare equipment lists and rough drawings for cost estimation
* Building relationships and liaise with internal customers and external suppliers and vendors and manage daily correspondence for quantities, costs and specifications

2. Worked as Estimation Engineer – Electrical from May 2007 to June 2008 in
Jay ram Engineering Works- India.

NATURE OF JOB AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Completed Quantity survey and Estimation works for the Projects.
* Initiating, obtaining and update costs for all the engineering section activities and form a data bank on the cost of projects, maintenance, and engineering studies. Moreover, to provide expert Cost Engineering support for coordinating, Supervising and monitoring for Engineering section's Annual Operating and Capital Budget.
* Technical discussion and commercial negotiation with supplier.
* Preparation of Material Submittal and co-ordination with the Project
Engineer for the product approval
* Worked as a Site Engineer reporting directly to the Project Manager.
* Reviewing draft tender documents to ensure all systems and components of the tender are included

* Good knowledge in AUTO-CAD.
* Software Language such as C, C++, JAVA and J2EE.
* Complete knowledge of Ms Word, Ms Excel.
