M/s Hindustan Newsprint Limited, Newsprint Nagar, Kottayam, Kerala November 1982- July 2005 Worked as Supervisor, Sr. Supervisor, Executive, Asst. Manager (Forestry) and Dy. Manager (Forestry). Experience in the field of Plantation and extraction of Eucalyptus, Acacia, Pine, Aluns, reeds and Bamboos. Worked in the raw material yard for 10 years. Implementation of Community forestry for pulpwood. Experienced in Tissue culture of Eucalyptus.
M/s Nagaon Paper Mill (unit of Hindustan Paper Corporation Ltd.), Jagi Road, AssamFrom August 2005 onwards Working as Dy. Manager (Forestry) and associated with raw material storage management, procurement and Tissue Culture.
Contributions to the served/ serving organizations 1. At Punalur Paper Mills, introduced the system of adding alum in solution form instead of using alum blocks directly to beaters. This action saved the consumption of this chemical.
2. At M/s Hindustan Newsprint Limited worked as implementing officer of Farm forestry and could develop this project into a massive scheme. The introduction of voluntary organizations as a new means for extension forestry was done and made it as an effective tool. This scheme was thereafter copied in other paper mills also.
3. At Nagaon Paper Mill, working in Tissue Culture laboratory in the commissioning stage) which will raise 20 lakh bamboo seedlings every year from 2008. Also associating with the procurement activities of bamboo (75000 MT from Meghalaya)
External training imparted with Exposed to the various plantation techniques, including tree Improvement methods related to the pulpwood species (Eucalyptus) of the leading pulp manufacturers of Brazil during 2007------------
