* Under my, supervision the safety staff which included 8-10 technicians working two shifts was able to achieve the million hour plus mile stone of working without a loss time injury.
* This was a multi-phased project which started as a repair from storm damage due to hurricane Rita this took in the 5 units at this facility.
* The safety group took an active part to ensure that each employee was able to work in the safest environment that was available under the conditions that were at hand.
* Oversaw the lock out process for the cooling fans, this involved locking out both the MCC, and the actual fan.
* All of the work on these fans did involve confined space entry procedure along with these I also oversaw confined space entries for the super- heaters.
* Made the sure that all tower entries were NORM tested prior to entry and that all fresh air and breathing air requirements were adhered to.
* Responsible for the investigation of any incident, injury or conflict involving company personnel, also I was in charge of the monthly random urinalysis which would involve 150 samples.
* Transported personnel to and from the clinic as the situation dictated. Completed all required monthly reports, and I worked to ensure that company and client relations remained viable by providing a safe work record for both.

* Provided safety for those working in the field by inspecting the structure of storm damaged homes and buildings. Hurricane Rita relief for Orleans, Cameron, and Vermillion Parishes conducted 500 home inspections for asbestos containing materials. Worked in the capacity of team leader and senior inspector. Over 2,000 homes inspected between the four parishes.
* Environmental consultant working Hurricane Rita Relief, Plaquemines Parish, LA conducted asbestos, inspection and bulk sampling for 500 storm damaged homes and businesses along with hazardous material inspection and inventory.
