HR, Payroll, Expense Report Administrator
Payroll processing for 200 employees for 4 Southern California offices. Review, approval, and GL coding of employee expense reports. Productivity reporting for 4 offices. Perform audits on new hire and termination files. Work with HR reviewing, revising, and putting new processes into place. Reconciliation of quarterly Federal and State tax payments and of monthly payroll entries to the GL. Maintain benefit accruals for PTO and medical insurance, post monthly payroll, benefits and PTO journals to the GL. Perform monthly reconciliation of GL journals and balance to GL. Manage building facility for the Bakersfield office.

Operations Manager
Sole Operations person for the Berkeley Research Lab. Performed planning, analysis, and management of the lab's $6 million plus annual budget. Managed all procurement processes, facility requirements, contract compliance, legal issues, and maintained excellent relations with our collaborating partner University of California, Berkeley. Responsible for preparing all grant proposals for the Berkeley lab. Managed lab's HR recruiting, training and staffing requirements with I9 headcount and advised employees regarding benefit questions. Provided support to the two lab Directors on budget, legal and relation issues. Supervision of 3 support staff. Developed and maintained new processes for the lab. Award received for the outstanding development and execution of the 2004 Intel Research Intern Program.
