CAREER OBJECTIVE
I have gained high professional experience in Telecommunication, Engineering and IT sectors at different areas, but mostly in Engineering Planning (Value Added Services, VAS) and Service & Product Development (both Engineering and Business) as a Senior Program and Project Manager. My former experience has also encompassed the successful management of the consumer electronics R&D projects and the manufacturing phases.
I am seeking strong senior management challenges in Telecommunication, Technology and Engineering fields, especially in Program - Project Management and in Business Development areas that I will best utilize my valuable management experience.

Senior Consultant (Telecommunications, Technology & Engineering)

Deliver consultancy service to the local telecommunication companies [like wireless (GSM, PWLAN) service providers, virtual operators, GSM operators, Value Added Service and Content providers etc] for (Value Added) Service and Product Development, Engineering Planning, Product Business Development areas.
Senior Program / Project Manager
TURKCELL, Service & Product Development, Istanbul April 2002 - June 2004
A S&PD (Service and Product Development) Program / Project Manager achieves business development process for value added services and products with Marketing, plans new service/product roadmaps together with Marketing, and Engineering planning departments for value added service requests, initiates and manages service development projects, coordinates Marketing, Engineering, SW development, CuRe teams, achieves service pilot production in GSM telecommunication sector.
Managing the processes (during the project) like vendor evaluation, RFP preparation, tender analysis, solution customization, project planning, project implementation, risk and change management and reporting.
Major Achievements:
* Business development in for value added services and products, especially for data access (PWLAN, GPRS) and Location Based Services programs,
* Enriching LBS business by means of Telenity LBS Middleware that simplifies integration of application, service, and content provider to Turkcell' s infrastructure.
* Managed and successfully launched the Value Added Services like ; (Fleet Management), GPRS Prepaid and PWLAN.
Senior Project Manager
TURKCELL, Engineering Planning, Istanbul January 2001 - April 2002
A Value Added Services Planning Project Manager plans road-maps together with Service &Product Development department for new value added service requests, initiates new platform projects that increase the efficiency of the infrastructure, analyzes and shapes the requested business model, forms a project plan with engineering team, initiates and manages the project.
Main responsibilities are to evaluate the new service request, to establish the project team among Engineering departments, to search in-house or vendor solutions, to structure the technical solution, to plan implementation schedule and to achieve the implementation.
Managing the processes (during the project) like vendor evaluation, RFP preparation, tender analysis, solution customization, project planning, project implementation, risk and change management and reporting. Some of the major international vendors that cooperated with are Ericsson, Motorola, HP, IBM, Schulamberger and the operators are TeliaSonera, TIM Italia, Etisalat (Dubai) etc.
Major Achievements:
* Managed and implemented the Ericsson Mobile Positioning System (MPS) for location based services (LBS).
* Managed and launched the Yellow Pages (LBS) service,
* Managed and launched the Mobile PoS for specific financial clients (especially requested by mobile merchant) service,
Network Strategies Chief Engineer

Researches new wireless technologies and solutions to compose mid and long term strategies which emphasize the evolution paths for the (service, core, wireless etc.) network and also remark the new business models possible with new technologies. Perform feasibility study for the technologies (like ATM over SDH) which can be realized in short-term.
The base points of the research studies are to be aware of new telecommunication technologies, to increase network profitability, to have an up-to-date network and finally to satisfy the marketing requirements.
Major Achievements:
* Performed feasibility study about ATM over SDH for packet technology evolution,
* Reported strategic researches on to the developments of 3G and new technologies,
* Evaluated the dual band application (GSM 1800) to increase radio capacity of GSM 900,
* Designed the Mobil PoS infrastructure and achieved a specific client trial,
* Performed MSISDN Hunt Group solution for 3rd party 444xxxx customer care services with a specific client,

TV & Video Design Group Leader
BEKOTEKNIK, Consumer Electronics R&D, Istanbul September 1989 - May 1998
Manage the research and design process (by means of Mentor Graphics tool) of consumer electronics goods, like CTV, Satellite Receiver and other video/audio equipment according to the Marketing business model.
Perform coordination among Production, Design and Product Quality Assurance, and Mechanical Design departments during design and pilot production phases. Manage the electronics R&D team.
Managing the processes (during the design project) like design requirements preparation regarding the business needs, solution research and analysis, design project planning, the coordination within intra-departments and with 3rd parties, pilot production, documentation, risk and change management and reporting.
