-Determination of physical and chemical parameters of soil.
-Analysis of water samples for parameters like dissolved oxygen (DO), BOD, COD, total hardness, salinity, residual chlorine, dissolved and suspended solids, etc.
-Ambient air monitoring with respect to SO2, NOx, O2, CO, SPM, Respirable particles (10 µ) and heavy metals concentration.

* Leaf Biotech Pvt. Ltd. deals with bioconversion of garbage into organic manure.
* Received hands-on experience monitoring ambient air quality, which included collection of air samples using high volume sampler and testing quality of air for parameters like ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, formaldehydes and aldehydes.
* Worked in coordination with government regulatory pollution control boards like Maharashtra Pollution Control Board and Central Pollution Control Board to ensure that the quality of air conformed with the norms specified by these government agencies.
* Received experience on mobile monitoring in coordination with Central Pollution Control Board.
Research Experience:
Research intern, Environmental Safety Department, Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, USA.
Work involved evaluating the feasibility and effectiveness of the treatment of the hazardous chemical waste with the electrochemical oxidation process (CerOx System).
Studies involved - Characterizing the waste stream and screening the chemicals that may be treated using the new technology. The regulatory aspect and cost benefit analysis involved in implementation of the system.

Presented a seminar/dissertation as a part of my Post Graduate degree requirement on "Oil Pollution". Poster presentation of the same was exhibited during the symposium on Environmental Management for Nuclear Establishments and Chemical Industries organized by Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC), Mumbai.

I have handled equipments such as High volume sampler (PEM HVF-10), a PC based Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (GBC 932 AAS, Australia), Orsat apparatus, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer (Shimadzu-160 A), Flame photometer, Colorimeter, pH-meter, Conductometer, Anemometer, Luxmeter, Sound meter, etc.
I have also studied the separation of hydrocarbons by HPLC and have performed various analysis using chromatography.

Worked in DOS, Windows 95, 98 and NT Environment, Unix Environment, Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Screen 3 models, Eutromod models.
