ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Collaborated with local officials on an ¡* environmental classroom¡¨ in a community affected by a 5000 barrel oil spill. The classroom was cited as an example of effective community relations during an Oklahoma State Senate Hearing on landowner complaints of oil industry practices.

Managed acquisition activities for $4,700,000 expansion project and handled community relations after hostile third parties campaigned to stop construction of new pump station, citing property devaluation. Represented company in town hall meetings, worked with regulators and local officials and helped broker a compromise that mitigated perceived impacts. Expansion project was completed on-schedule, despite controversy.

Limited company's liability, reaching mutually acceptable settlements and restoring community goodwill after a punctured pipeline overspray accident resulted in claims from approximately 100 individuals and businesses.

Negotiated sales of tank farms, pump stations, pipelines, communication towers, field offices, raw land and rights of way. The sales brought in $2,700,000 and, more importantly, provided an opportunity for the company to divest non-strategic assets and their environmental liabilities.

Avoided possible lawsuit by negotiating a 50% reduction in third party rentals for an existing lease on an offshore facility omitted from sale disclosures, allowing the sale to meet buyer's budgetary requirements.

Cleared title for a 240-well drilling program, including resolving an issue that held up a title opinion for 17 years

Facilitated town hall meetings to establish the vision, values, goals, and priorities of Houston's citizens through a broad and representative public consensus-building process.

Recovered thousands of dollars in royalties by auditing every lease agreement and division order and explaining errors to producers.
