* Site coordinator responsible for SIMOPS between construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and operations
* Responsible for all PTW coordination for the entire OPF (onshore production facility) and supporting export pipelines.
* Responsible for the integration of the PTW from the construction phase (a general PTW paper system) to the operations Intergraded Safe System of Work (ISSOW). First ISSOW in the paper format and than to facilitate the switch over to the ISSOW to the electronic system.
* To continually monitor and audit the PTW systems and to track and control the switch over.
* Conduct a daily PTW and Planning meeting to identify any conflicts as SIMOPs and to facilitate conflict resolution.
* Responsible to attend the week planning look a head meeting to provide input as a consultant and advisor, in an effort to ensure a smooth and achievable work schedule.
* Work closely with HSE to facilitate Naked Flame work in hazardous areas and Confined Space entries.
* Report directly to the Onshore Installation Manager (OIM).

DOLPHIN ENERGY 2005 to Present
Dolphin Energy Limited, Box 22275, Doha, Qatar
* Plant Shift Superintendent at the Dolphin Energy facility located in RasLaffan, Qatar. Responsible to over see the day to day operations of the entire Dolphin facility and the line manager for all operations and start up staff during my shift. I reporting directly to the Production Manager.
* The facility consists of an onshore Gas plant with a total through put of 2620MMSCFD which is supplied by two offshore platforms via two sea-lines. With a sales gas capacity of 2100MMSCFDD and Condensate production of 110,000B/D.
* The plant consists of Two Gas treatment trains, Acid gas removal, Sulphur Recovery, NGL Recovery (Ethane, Propane, and Butane), export gas compression (Sales gas).
* Responsible for the entire Dolphin facility including production Utilities, offshore platforms, dry gas export, the tanks farm (condensate) and shipping jetty. Also the Lead in the ECC in emergency situations.
Accomplishments:
* Placed in charge to kick off the development of the Standard Operating Procedures for the two offshore platforms and to cover the responsibilities of the than vacated Offshore Superintendent position
* Placed in charge of all procurements acquisitions and logistics for the offshore platforms to ensure a seamless handover from projects to operations and to prepare for platform start up and first well clean ups.
* Assisted and co-ordinated with the Dolphin training department to ensure the compulsory offshore training for all offshore and on shore operational personnel.
* Reviewed and commented on the start-up and operating procedures for the platforms and process unites.
* Over seen the commissioning and SIMOP's of the 48" gas export pipeline and the start up of the early gas phase which seen 350 MMscf/d of dry gas. Via the Dolphin export line to the UAE.
* Responsible for the PTW system and the final authority for the same.
* Currently in charge (during my shift) to over see and ensure safe and timely plant start-up working directly under the start-up manager.

WINTERSHALL LIBYA (BASF) 2001 – 2005

* Production supervisor/Production team lead at the Wintershall facility in Libya North Africa. The facility consists of 130,000 bbl/d Oil Plant; 65 MMscf/d Residue Gas Utilization Plant; 10,000 bbl/d LPG production; 20,000 bbl/d Salt Water Disposal Plant; three 6500 HP Gas Lift Compressor Station and a 50 Megawatt Alstom Gas Turbine Power Plant.
* Coordinating with maintenance departments and facilitate engineering, regarding plant operations
* Provide supervision on the daily operations to ensure plant optimisation and maximum yield.
* Provided planning and operations input as a shutdown co-ordinator for the shutdown and inspections during the 2004 T&I and performed as the PTW co-ordinator.
* Provide training for the development of the Libyan Nationals in the operations of the GOSP and GUP and to assist in their development of the spoken English language.
Accomplishments:
* 2003 On assignment at Wintershall head office in Kassel, Germany. I provided operations input to the Wintershall expansions of their Libyan operations. My duty's consisted of performing Haz-Opps; review of vendor documentation, P&IDs and Cause and Effect. Provided assistance to vendors and wrote and prepared training materials and start-up procedures for the operators in the field.
* Worked on the development and implementation of the current permit to work system (PTW based on the Shell PTW system) at the Wintershall facilities.

BROWN and ROOT CANADA 1995 – 2001

* Control Room Technician on the Hibernia 200,000b/d Offshore Oil Production Platform.
* Part of the construction, commissioning and start-up team, both in the field and in the CCR.
* Worked on the development and presentation of the Hibernia platform process and utilities systems training and procedures for all Hibernia operations and maintenance personnel.
* Worked as a start up control room operator (Bailey Infi90) and instructor (trainer).
* Responsible for the operation of power generation which is provided by two 23.5 MW Brush Generators with General Electric model LM2500 gas turbines drivers.
* Responsible for the operation of Gas compression which is provided by two Dresser-Rand multi-stage centrifugal compressors, with General Electric model LM2500 gas turbines drivers, with a design discharge pressure of 68,800 kpag and a combined maximum gas injection rate of 4.6 million Sm3/d.
* This installation also provided water injection to facilitate the optimization of the Hibernia reservoirs.
Night Shift Co-ordinator
* Worked as Night Shift Coordinator with platform wide responsibilities and providing support to the operations team and coordinated simultaneous operation (SIMOPS) between production and Development.(The Hibernia Platform has two drilling rigs, 200,000b/d Oil Production, Water and Gas injection)
* Responsible to ensure maximize production within wells, reservoir and plant constraints
* Authorization of Permit to Work System.
* Conducted team meetings i.e.: development, planning, safety, and production and HSE.
* Provided nightly reports covering all platform operations and actives.
* Co-ordinate simultaneous activities with Development, (drilling) Material movement, (logistics) Domestic and Operations (process).
* Assumed Emergency Command and Control (ECC) in the CCR during platform events and than provided a detailed hand over to the OIM.
