* Establishing and monitoring with providing essential training for safety systems like PTW and MOC.

* Monthly reviews with Factory Manager on safety – fire safety aspects of the facility.
* Preparation and submission of new project plans and answers to the office of Director of industrial safety & health.
* Train the trainer in the areas of safety, health and environment.
* Carryout periodic Mock Drill and train plant personnel in combating such type of emergencies.
* Working as a Management Appointee (MA) to implement and achieve OHSAS 18001:1999.
* Participation in conducting Mock drill arranged by Local Area Disaster Management Plan, with local authority.
* Experience in using ALOHA and CAMEO software for Dispersion modelling.

As Safety Office/ Manager

* I have done postgraduate Diploma in Industrial safety in the year 1994-95 while working in Disperse Dyes Manufacturing Plant of Colourtex Industries Pvt. Ltd. I was shifted to newly established safety department as a First Safety Officer in the year 1995 and till date looking after all the OHS and F aspects of the facility as a Safety Manager.
* I have also done NEBOSH - General Certificate Course (UK) in the year- 2002.
* Played a significant role from starting, in establishing the high standard safety systems at the facility.

Contribution towards certification / System

* I lead the Colourtex – Surat in achieving the EHSMS in the Year- 2004.
* Preparation of various safety documents On Site- Off Site Emergency Plan, Booklet for Compulsory Disclosure of hazard information to public, Safety Manual, Chemical Incompatibility chart, Indigenous ready reference chart for hazardous chemicals etc.
* Co-operated and assisted the environment cell of the facility in preparing various documents for compiling legal obligations and environmental management system certification.
