10. The initial project was for one year. Proposals were developed for further period and based on significant results, the same donor funded two more years. Also, another cycle of funding is under consideration now.

* The program is a field project for a global partnership program based in Washington DC, NGO Networks for Health, jointly developed by ADRA, CARE, PATH, Plan International and Save the Children/US (Save the Children is the Lead PVO in Malawi)
* The program focuses on HIV/AIDS and Reproductive Health.
* Scope of work summary:
1. Staffing and establishment of Program
2. Management of all program activities including management of an Umbrella Grant program and sub-granting to local NGOs
3. Assessment and capacity building for local partners,
4. Development of necessary manuals and procedures
5. Development of future proposals.
6. The program is responsible for coordination of a quarterly forum (3-days workshop) for all partners of health activities funded by USAID well as key players in Malawi (USAID Mission, government, PVOs, UN agencies and local NGOs) where government policies and major issues are discussed.
