* Freight Forwarding & Logistics Implant Coordinator for Bechtel on the Sohar Aluminium Smelter Project in Oman.

Duties included:
- Coordinating shipments with vendors, freight forwarder, local customs broker and local transporters.
- Reviewing, approving and preparing shipping documentation for the Oman duty exemption process.
- Updating shipping status in Bechtel's BPS software (Bechtel Procurement System).
- Preparing daily shipment status report.
- Assisting in preparing weekly and monthly reports – shipment status, freight budget, project metric, container and insurance reports.
- Providing freight estimates.
- Preparing and expediting import permits for the Ministry of Environment in reference to hazardous materials.
- Participating in daily teleconferences with local Customs Broker and Freight Forwarder.
- Monitoring containers movements.

We handled the transport of over 190,000 metric tons (630,000 freight tons) of material to jobsite which began in April, 2006. This consisted of over 4,500 SCN's (domestic and international shipments), 4,300 container movements, breakbulk, RoRo and over 300 air freight shipments.

* Logistics Operations Manager- 3rd Party Logistics

Managed KN facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone, facility consisting 14000 square meters covered warehouse 7000 square meters were break bulk storage, other 7000 square meters provided with racking facility, 3500 pallets locations out of that 2300 pallets locations with temperature climate control system and the remaining 2700 pallets locations were for general cargo storage.

Arranged the customs clearance for inbound and outbound shipments to KN 3PL facility, managed and controlled stock movements at warehouse per client requirements, provide them with all the value added services, performed regular stocks check.

Managed team of 29 employees handled the daily activities at KN facility.

Duties included:
- Preparing presentations about the operations and warehouse facility.
- Preparing reports on activities, incomes, financial reports and compares it with the available budget and provides the reasons if there were any big variance.
- Analyzing and controlling the activities at the warehouse, distribution and logistics center.
- Planning all activities at warehouse based on clients requirements based on the capacity of the warehouse, recruit personnel and to oversee their training.
- Calculating and analyzing the costing of new business and sup contracts ( 4PL )
- Preparing and reviewing the contracts.
- Providing the prices and the calculations for RFQ's in regard of the warehousing & all transport methods (Air, Sea & Land)
- Preparing reports for number of movements, volume, tonnage and the performance (Metric reports)
- Studying the situation on regular bases, preparing activities plans to guarantee smooth operations and to cover the expansion to any expecting new business.
- Coordinating proper plan to load and offload heavy lift shipments bearing in mind safety in the first place and costs.
- Calculating the required man power and man hours for any business.

Accounts Handled:

- Fluor Amec (US Army):
KN was contracted to transport certain materials from UAE to 22 cities in Iraq, we coordinated with vendors and transporters to collect and consolidate materials at KN facility, check/examine cargos item by item and update the client if there were any discrepancies, re pack materials, loading materials for each city in convoys and customs clear it by using the customs duty exception agreement.
- Al Ghurair Project:
Coordinated 240 truck loads of School supplies to different cities across Iraq.
- KPR (US Army):
We handled many KPR's shipments from Jebel Ali to Iraq after obtaining the approvals from the concerned authorities in UAE as well as the permits from customs as special procedures were required for such cargos.
- Philips Middle East - House Appliances Division.
- Pilot Pen- Middle East.
They had approximately 240 SKU's.
- Toy Triangle – the agent for New Boy in the Middle East
They had approximately 300 SKU's.
- Marriot Hotels amenities supplies( Hotel Logistics)
We handled the supply chain activities for Marriott Hotels in the Middle East.
