DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist and Advice the Project Management and Supervisors in Implementing the Project HSE Plan and in meeting project goals.
Ensure that all project personnel are conversant with their obligations relating to HSE in accordance with the both project HSE paln and the requirements of the company and current legislation.
In conjunction with Project Management/ Training Department, arrange for and carry out any necessary HSE training for all personnel involve in the project. i.e. operators, newcomers, visitors, etc.
Monitor compliance with the Project HSE plan and the company HSE procedures, make regular site inspections and prepare detailed reports of site performance. Copies of such reports and inspections are sent to Project/HSE manager. Issue and follow up correction notices.
Attend regular HSE meetings with Project Management and other interested parties.
Endorse the permit to work and ensure that all safety measures are taken before the start of work.
Evaluate potential hazards on new types of equipment or processes and assist in the preparation and implementation of new policies and procedures. And prepare JSAs.
Participate in any accident investigation and ensure the preventive and corrective measures are taken.
