Have extensive programming background using FORTRAN and MATLAB. Have extensive experience in using ANSYS, I-DEAS Master Series and TMG, FLUENT, ADINA in developing and solving finite element models for thermal analysis, linear structural and dynamic modal analysis.

Lab Setup
Has been involved in setting up an independent lab ¡* Musculoskeletal Research Lab¡¨ at the University of Cincinnati. This included setting up the equipment, calibrating the machines, and developing procedures and methods to run tests. Developed instructions on how to operate hardware systems, setting up data acquisition system (i.e. developing the programs to acquire results) and integrating the data acquisition system with the hardware system.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
North American Lighting, Inc. (A Koito Company) (8/00-present)
Senior Computer Aided Engineer
* Engage in computer aided engineering software technology development to create an automated technique and mechanism to quickly evaluate designs and give recommendations. Productivity of analysis has increased by 300%.
* Perform Finite Element Analysis to design new car lamps and improve existing designs.
* Recommend new ideas and designs for automotive lights based on thermal analysis, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), stress, static and modal analysis performed on the components of automotive lamps.
Published two articles in SAE conference about thermal evaluations of automotive lights.

Ethicon Endo-Surgery (A Johnson & Johnson Company) (10/98-8/00)
Product Development Engineer
* Improve the production cycle of an existing product and implement new designs and prototypes on a faster pace. Interact with surgeons and medical doctors to understand their needs and requirements to develop a better product or tool for their application. Understand the production process in the company to produce a product and suggest ways to introduce short and efficient design cycles.
* Developed a program that saved the company 20% of the cost to produce Ultracision medical devices. The program computes the thermal distribution in tissue and medical tools and shows preliminary results to make a decision at an early stage in the cycle design. The program replaced the experimental procedures and trial and error methods used to develop the product, hence, improved the production cycle.
* Developed a finite element model to analyze the stresses, heat generation behavior and temperature distribution in the tissue and the Ultracision devices using SDRC-IDEAS and TMG.
* Developed experimental protocols to evaluate the heat generated in the tissue and the medical tools.
* Trained people to use both models and how to interpret the results and the output of both programs.
* Designed a new medical product driven with ultrasound techniques. This entails performing stress, modal and vibration analysis, using SDRC-IDEAS.
* Reported six internal invention disclosures for the company and received an innovation award.

* Study the different operations that are handled by the company to improve turn around time.
* Apply time study on the system to determine the bottlenecks; propose changes in personnel scheduling and modification in operation by running different scenarios of schedules, priority of work, workflow and shop floor layout.
* Implement changes in operations that resulted in reduced turn around times, and personnel schedules matching the work load fluctuation for reduced operating cost and reduced error rate.

AWARDS
* INNOVATION AWARD from the Ethicon Endo Surgery (EES) IDEA REVIEW BOARD (IRB) for developing a new technique (combination of five different ideas) to produce products more efficiently. Innovation awards are normally presented to submitters of those ideas that EES wishes to keep as trade secrets.
