PROFESSIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE
Research Assistant SUNY-ESF, Syracuse, NY.
Fall 2004- Present
Study the effect of sewer systems on a small watershed.
Conducting literature reviews of the components present in the sewer systems and analyzing their behavior using a tracer study. Performing a mass balance to determine the amount of sewer components in the watershed and suggest remediation/rehabilitation techniques.
Research Assistant Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY.
Summer 2004- Present
Study the pattern of Mercury composition in plant tissues in the Adirondacks.
Analyzing and determining the concentration of Mercury in vegetation samples taken from the Adirondacks. Concentration trend for different vegetation samples is predicted using Geographic Information Systems.Gas Chromatography, Mass Spectrometer, High Pressure Liquid Chromatography, Atomic Adsorption Spectrometer, Photo catalytic oxidizer will be the instruments used to achieve the specific objectives of the project.
Teaching Assistant SUNY-ESF, Syracuse, NY.
