The project is a program written in C language as a tool for operation and maintenance of an existing plant. It can also be used to design a new plant. The program was written on the basis of an existing 25 MLD sewage treatment plant in Visakhapatnam, India, which uses activated sludge process for the treatment of wastewater. The program tests the plant's efficiency and sludge production under different flow fluctuations, changes future regulations and changing weather conditions.
