Position: Senior QA/QC Inspector. Piping/Welding.

Responsible for the supervision of contractor QC performance & reporting, on the Rasgas expansion project in Ras Lafan in Qatar UAE. I am employed extensively in the construction & testing of piping systems on the LNG plant train four. Train five is about to start. I am responsible to the senior RasGas QA/QC engineer & am active in the resolution of any non-conformances or technical queries.

October - December 2004. Velosi UAE.
Position: Lead Quality Surveyor.
Responsible for the supervision of the inspection team covering the installation / laying of 3 x 32" gas pipelines with 4.5" MEG smaller piggy back and 1 x 30" from shore to SBM All were shore pulls from
As-sahalaha Iran. Reporting to the senior Statoil representative on board, attending quality & progress meetings & resolving quality issues as they arise.

June 2004 - September 2004. Shaw P/Line Services Ltd.
Position: Senior Welding Inspector.
Onboard McDermott barge DB 27 in Qatar for the laying of two sub-sea pipelines on behalf of Ras Gas.
Duties include material receiving inspections end preparation & fit-up. Short term concluded successfully.

February 2004 - June 2004 SGS UAE. Ltd.
Position: Senior Welding Inspector.
SWI on the construction of a methanol plant on behalf of Fluor Daniel's integrated management team for Sipchem in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Duties included but not limited to.
Hydro-testing of piping systems & vessels. Welding of structural buildings, (pipe racks etc.), piping systems, pressure vessels, tanks & towers. Inspection of coating/painting preparations & application of various coating systems. Left due to the civil unrest at that time.

May 2003 - September 2003 Moody Int. Ltd. UAE.
Position: Vendor Inspector.
Vendor inspector in the fabrication & testing of four, prototype 38" X 5,000Lb top entry twin piston ball valves, and other smaller valves for the Ras Gas expansion program. Duties included the witnessing of welding inconel 625 cladding, pressure testing, both gas & Hydro at differing pressures. Other duties included inspection of actuators for the valves already mentioned. This work lasted until the scope had been completed.

Nov. 2000 - Oct 2002 Moody Int. Ltd. Saudi.
Position: Vendor Ispector.
Working as vendor inspector mainly on behalf of Snamprogetti, Amec & Saudi techint. Responsible for all aspects of the following. Witnessing of the testing of various valves & pressure relief devices & releasing to site. Inspection of vessel fabrication, visual/dimensional, witnessing of hardness tests, heat treatment, positive material identification, blasting & coating operations, hydrostatic testing, compiling & reviewing fabrication as built drawings for final sign off and shipping to site. Specifications used ASME 1X, ASME-B-31.3. NACE etc.
Relocated to Jeddah overseeing the construction of pressure vessels at Zamil Heavy Industries, structural at Hidada, & valves at the Saudi Valve Company. Then moved to Dubai on behalf of Amec BKW SA Ltd. Then to Maritime Industrial Services in Sharjah as clients inspector during the fabrication of filters & filter separators built for Saudi Aramco.

July 1999 - July 2000 Saudi Consulting Services.
Position: Senior Projects inspector P&E.
On the fabrication of jackets & decks for Aramco by McDermott's Jebel Ali Dubai. On completion, relocated to the fire water upgrade project on Zuluf Gas & Oil Separation Platforms # 1&2 in Saudi Arabia. This work required the compilation of structural & piping packages normally done by the contractor. My duties included the supervision of QC personnel working for the contractor, auditing the radiographic department for acceptability & verify interpretation results. Standards used were ASME.B.31.3 & AWS. D1.1

May 1998 - July 1999 Shaw QED.
Position: QC supervisor/ Senior Inspector.
On board Allseas pipe-lay vessel Lorelay during the installation of sub-sea pipeline in the North Sea, doing QC & radiographic interpretation. The welding system was Phoenix Gold. Then transferred to McDermott barge DB27 as QC inspector during the installation of the north field Alpha accommodation jacket & module on behalf of QGPC in Qatar. My next assignment was offshore Iran as QC supervisor on board the Abouzar 1200 during the installation of jackets & decks in then South Pars upgrade project. I was also responsible for compilation of the packages at final acceptance sign off stage. Standards used were ASME IX & AWS.D.1.1.

August 1992 - Jan 1998 Vetco/Tuboscope.
Position: Senior Welding Inspector.

Seconded to Saudi Aramco off-shore projects inspection. My work included installation & hook-up of jackets & decks as already previously described.

April 1992 - June 1992 OIS Ltd.
Position: Welding Insp./Rad Interpreter.
Seconded to Stenna off-shore on the Apache spooling barge during the laying of small bore pipelines in the North Sea (Southern).

Sept 1991 - April1992 Rigblast Ltd.
Position Welding Insp/Rad Interpreter.
Assigned to various platforms, including the Brae A & B on behalf of Marathon Oil & on the 1947 on behalf of Brirish Gas. This work was all short term upgrade stuff on well head piping & vessels.

March 1991 - Sept 1991 OIS Ltd.
Position: Welding Insp/Rad Interpreter
Seconded to McDermott/ETPM on the Snorre to Statfjord A subsea 42" pipeline for Statoil on board the LB200.

Oct 1990 - March 1991 RTD Rotterdam.
Position: Welding Insp/Rad Interpreter.
Working for various clients in Holland, including Philips Chemicals, on shut down work on vessels. I was also employed on the running of welding procedures, (including mechanical) for work in the North Sea.

June 1990 - Oct 1990 Solus Oceaneering.
Position: Front End Welding Insp.
Employed on the Braishfield to Ower 24" high pressure gas pipeline on behalf of British Gas Southern. This work included hot-taps on 2 X 12" by-pass lines & subsequent testing.

Feb 1990 - May 1990 Industrial Inspection PTY.
Position: NDT Technician.

Employed on the erection of the MossGas refinery in Mossel Bay in South Africa doing radiography on pipe work & vessels.

May 1998 - Dec 1999 Mapel Ltd.
Position: Radiographer.
Seconded to Press offshore, doing radiography on topside piping, on the Montrose Alpha-Arbroath hook-up.

March 1987 - May1988 Arlis Inspection.
Position: NDT Technician.
Employed by resident inspection company carrying out inspections on piping & vessels at sub-contractors such as Thew Engineering & others.

March 1985 - Feb 1986 Arlis Inspection.
