Designing and data analysis of hydrogeological tests like Groundwater Pump Test, Slug Test, Air Sparge Test, Bioventing Test and Soil Vapor Extraction Test (for intermittent or continuous operation and/or for individual or combined conditions) to evaluate site specific hydrogeologic parameters using AQTESOLV and SURFER„¥

Project Involvement
Intrinsic Bioremediation Project at General Motors Corporation, Service Parts Operations Facility in Ypsilanti, Michigan impacted with gasoline constituents. This research project is a joint venture between General Motors Corporation, NCMSNational Center for Manufacturing Sciences, Ford Motor Company, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Texaco, Department of Energy and NESA to investigate and evaluate low cost and efficient bioremediation technology.
Recovery of transmission fluid from the subsurface soils/groundwater utilizing innovative technologies (dual pumping systems) from the General Motors Hydramatic Facility in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Speedway SuperAmerica LLC, Marathon Ashland Petroleum, Shell Oil and Total Petroleum facilities all over Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. Project includes Phase I, II, and remediation of sites impacted with petroleum products using low cost engineered techniques.
Shell Oil Company involving design and installation of specially designed oxygen delivery systems to deliver oxygen to impacted groundwater and to promote bioremediation for cleanup.
Total petroleum refinery in Alma, Michigan involving cleanup of high concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons from soil and groundwater utilizing patented technologies.
Wurtsmith Air Force Base in Oscoda, Michigan involving cleanup of jet fuel from subsurface soils and groundwater. It involved intensive groundwater modeling to evaluate the hydrogeological parameters and to understand and estimate the movement of impacted plume by conducting a tracer test at the site. The treatment strategy was then evaluated on the basis of results obtained by modeling. This project was conducted under the supervision of National Center for Integrated Bioremediation Research and Development (NCIBRD), University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Genesee County Power Station for evaluation of pumping groundwater for cooling tower use. It involved designing, application and data analysis for the most optimized pumping rate for the site.
City of Ann Arbor's storage facilities at Main Street and Washington Street involving designing and implementation of remedial system for soil and groundwater cleanup contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons.
Free phase hydrocarbon recovery system design for Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), Detroit Public Works (DPW) Service Yard for free product recovery.
Muscle Shoals Ford, Alabama involving site contaminated with hydraulic oil. Remediation technology involved surfactant washing, bioventing and nutrient addition to enhance bioremediation.
Ford Metarie, Louisiana involving pilot testing of innovative and low cost remediation technology.
Wayne Disposal Inc. proposed Landfill Extension Project in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Groundwater modeling was utilized to predict the influence of a nearby pumping well (Chateau Well) and prove that this extension will not cause any leachate migration under maximum pumping conditions in future.
