Strategic Planning/ Cost Reductions
- Devising cost saving measures & modifications to achieve substantial reduction in terms of man days, production cost, raw material & energy consumption.

Quality Control

- Maintaining quality standards for incoming materials, ensuring stringent adherence to quality standards, norms & practices, identifying gaps and taking corrective action.
- Responsible for receipt, in-process & final inspection of equipments.
- Actively involved in receipt, in-process and final inspection of equipments in the receipt store, fabrication and machine shop. Worked for coded vessels of ASME sec. VIII / Div 1 & 2, Nuclear S.G.s / Heat exchangers & equipments as per ASME Sec. III / NB & NC, as per Nuclear customer specifications.
- Co-ordinating with customer and inspection agencies for inspection related activities. Worked for Inspection agencies like LRIS, SGS, PDIL, BV, UHDE, BARC, IGCAR, AI, DGQA.
- Expertise in dimensional inspection methods, visual inspection, & NDT inspection methods like MPI, UT, RT, PT, leak testing.
- Preparing inspection reports and final documentation of all equipments using various software programmes.

Supervision & Troubleshooting
- Supervision & getting job done from NDT technicians.
- Trouble shooting of Heat Exchangers, Steam Generator assemblies & maintenance of various inspection instruments / machines.

Shop Floor Welding Operations
- Accountable for the inspection of welding parameters on hourly basis as per customer requirements including preparing of weld data sheet with all welding parameters.
- Experience in monitoring welding parameters such as preheat temperature, interpass temperature, post heat temperature & time, preparation & approval of WPS & PQR.
- Expertise in visual inspection of welds and interpretation of RT result tracings for check surfaces marked.

Inspection Purview
Worked on equipments for wide range of customers of Larsen & Toubro limited from India to abroad. Heat exchangers, structural jobs, fertilizer / petrochemical & refinery equipments, high temperature & low temperature service equipments, steam generator assemblies for nuclear power plants, Helium Leak Testing machine, Optical Inspection instruments such as Theodolite, Paragone level, Jig Transit, Alignment Telescope., Presently working for nuclear power plant equipments manufactured in Class-A Dust Free Enclosure (DFE).

Achievements
- Currently handling NPCIL/BHAVINI customer's project of steam generator assemblies for inspection / documentation.
- Ultrasonic cleaning of drilled tubesheet holes (400 mm Thk) of S.G. assemblies to remove rust.
- RE-conditioning, Inspection & Q.C. documentation for 10 years old short closed order of NPCIL steam generators.
- Successfully initiated the use of permanent fix reference points. Points marked using datum plates embedded in the floor to facilitate fix reference line during fabrication of the critical shape of the equipments and for inspection purposes.
- Instrumental in the devising and implementing new inspection methods & developing new instruments; resulting in the reduction of fabrication and inspection time and higher productivity.
