Brief Details of present and previous Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for providing operational HSE advise consistent with corporate standard operation procedures and training programs covering health, safety and environment aspects of construction project sites, oil and gas production facilities and camps.

- Monitoring company Safety performance and conducting project HSE inspections / Audits and representing the company in all HSE matters pertaining to internal and external activities.

- Developing procedures for implementing the site HSE Plan and managing the program on a daily basis.

- Conducting HSE Awareness Training for all site personnel and regular field inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with contract, existing permits and other applicable environmental regulations.

- Writing and approving, in consultation with client, project specific standard operating procedures to ensure all HSE aspects are covered.

- Working as an interface with other project site discipline managers to convey and reinforce HSE requirements and Reviewing method statements issued by site discipline areas and amend, if necessary, to align with HSE requirements.

- Writing regular HSE reports highlighting trends and possible exposures, deployment and training of staff, and incidents of significance.

- Undertaking monthly HSE project audits ensuring follow-up and rectification of detected irregularities.

- Acting as the HSE representative at weekly project client meeting to provide input on compliance and progress.

- Reviewing and approving applications for various work permits for specific project activities, ensuring activities are coordinated and that safety compliance is monitored by Safety Officers.

- Supervising the site medical facility providing services for the treatment of injury and illness, first-aid training of staff and regular inspections of camp and site facilities.

- Working closely with Client personnel to ensure alignment of strategies across the project operations to ensure that the Client requirements are met.

- Monitoring processes for compliance against project plans and contract requirements.

- Making continuous effort to define and measure HSE performance against Client Key Performance Indicators and ensure program is in place for continuous improvement.

- Identifying and communicating sound practices within and across all areas of the Project to ensure a level of consistency in HSE approach and performance.

- Engaging in all the principal HSE tasks including training, planning, program development, auditing, risk assessment etc.

- Acting as an interface between the Client, Subcontractor Management and Teams.

- Working with line Managers, Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Governmental Representatives and other parties to implement and communicate company HSE Policy and performance.

- Reviewing and updating Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Project HSE Plan.

- Preparation of contractor HSE Plan, review and updating the Plan according the clients HSE requirements for various EPC Projects.

- Preparation of Training course materials, arranging and conducting the training for employees and interested parties.

- Conducting Safety and Environmental Audits / Inspection to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulatory laws.

- Conducting orientation, visiting work site and distributing the safety literature to implement and promote safety and environmental policies and procedures.

- Preparation and installation of safety sign boards and safety slogans, Supervision and follow-up of construction safety etc.

- Preparation of monthly and yearly Safety Statistics and report submission to the Management and corporate bodies.

Prepared the Specific Project HSE plan for the following major EPC Projects apart from other construction projects.
- Project Safety Plan for Wafi Hotel and Mall Expansion Project (Multi Storey building), Wafi, Dubai.
- Contract HSE Plan for the project "Fahud-Lekhwair 132 KV OHL (EPC)" cable laying Project (Petroleum Development Oman Contract).
- HSE Plan for "Marmul to Nimr 24" MOL Section replacement EPC Contract.
- HSE Plan for "Procurement and construction of a Tank T-1102" Solvent flush water tank for Oman LNG Company (Oman Liquefied Natural Gas Plant), Qalhat, Oman.
- Project HSE Plan for "Baghdad South Power Station-2" TG 9000 E for GE Energy Product- France.
- Construction of "Storage Tank" for Oman Polypropylene Projects.
