* Analyze all types of water for alkalinity, hardness, chlorides, turbidity, pH, Conductivity, BOD, COD, bacterial count, including anions and cations.
* Prepare standard report of analysis as required for preparation of design and proposals for water and wastewater treatment.
* Procure, prepare and standardize all standard laboratory reagents and solutions.
* Responsible for calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipments, like Analytical Balance, pH meters, conductivity meters, Hach Spectrophotometer, COD apparatus and BOD analysis equipments.
* Maintain and log meticulous records for reports of analysis.
* Maintain sufficient stocks of analytical reagents and consumables.
* Strict compliance of ISO 9000 standards and procedures.
As APPLICATION ENGINEER
- Review the Water Treatment Program and inspect the undergoing treatment and carry field analysis as to water chemistry.
- Prepare the reports and discuss the findings for corrective actions.
- Train the operators for on the spot analysis water and maintain a log.
- Establish parameter for chemical consumption.
- Check if the equipment is dosing, bled and blowdown as per instructions.
- Perform regular inspections for all the equipment.
- Discuss performance problems with the responsible personnel.
- Establish chemical inventory and reorder status
- Supervise chemical cleaning and disinfection jobs.
- Keep abreast with the of local regulation to ensure program meets all guidelines
- Consistent site visits as per schedule
