- Worked on Carbon Dioxide Sequestration project for my PhD Dissertation communicating with the Chemical Engineers at the University and Environmental Engineers at the Jim Bridger Power Plant, WY
- Conducted experiments with flue gas from the stack and fly ash from the electrostatic baghouse precipitators in a fluidized bed reactor at optimum conditions to obtain mineral carbonation
- Studied the mobility of the toxic trace elements in fly ash using wet chemistry experiments

- Collected water samples from different sources as per the EPA protocols, tested for water quality standards and assisted the public regarding the compliance with environmental quality requirements of the state and national agencies

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE & SOFT SKILLS
- Sampled and analyzed CO2,NOx, and SO2 emissions from coal power plants using the Orion Multigas Detector

- Conducted literature searches using libraries and on-line sources to identify, locate and evaluate published materials
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to explain complex scientific material and concepts to individuals and groups with varying levels of understanding
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
