Past Work/Industry Experiences:
* Work in composite materials related to aerospace industry Airbus. Worked in carbon-epoxy composites.
* Worked with Milled Carbon(Recycling of carbon fibres), Dr. John Davidson, Birmingham.
* Worked in steel factory environment to successfully produce the test result, thereby also analyzing the defects in the components (turbine blades) through non-destructive testing.

* Individual research project titled "Measuring the residual stresses of steel components, welded steel structures and P91 Steels components".
* Rewarded as 2nd best in the class of 64 students, graded as A* with marks 194/200 for my dissertation.
* TIG Welded P91 steel and ferrite stainless steel 430 grade components were analyzed to study the variations in induced residual stresses during welding by RIGAKU STRESS ANALYSER at BHEL, India.(Welding was also carried out at the same industry).
* Analyzing the Microscopic defects in the welds using Optical Microscope.

2003 - 2004 3rd Year training in Vizag Steel Plant

* Industrial visit to the Steel factory included 'The Process of Steel Making' by Blast furnace along with testing steel components. Simple test such as Tension, Bend and Hardness Tests were conducted.
* Final report was submitted on behalf of the group of 12 members, was awarded and ranked as 1st in class.
* As a team leader I was responsible for the daily planning for the visit to the industry, experiments to be conducted and following up with the supervisor.
Skills:
* Gained extensive laboratory experience as a part of bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Metallurgy, Physical Metallurgy, Study of Steels, Heat Treatment of Metals and Super alloys during 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of course study. Mechanical Testing of Metals (Tensile, compression, bending and hardness testing), Making simple compressed powder components and testing.
* Also practical experience in Forging, casting and metal drawings along with welding knowledge and the study of defects formed in welding in different metals during welding in various structures.
* Computer skills: Working experience in C, C++, Oracle, Windows and MS Office.
