I am an alumnus of Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad 1980 batch and joined M/S. Hinudustan Zinc Ltd (A Government of India Enterprise) as 6 th batch probationer Engineer in 1981.I have worked for twenty one years and eight months as an executive at various units of M/S.HZL in the states of Rajasthan, Orissa, and Andhra Pradesh. Recently I have opted for voluntary retirement and relieved from the service in February 2003.

In addition to the information given in bio-data I have hands on experience as HOD in dealing with statutory authorities/ pollution control board/ EPTRI etc for doing all statutory and environmental protection and pollution control jobs and aware of environmental acts/rules related to industries. I have prepared EIA s EMP s for HZL and obtained EC/CFE/CFO. In this regard I got an authorisation from Indian Bureau of Mines, M/O.Mines and Minerals to prepare Mining and Environmental management Plans as RQP under rule 22 c of MCR 1960. I am in touch with Pollution Control Board Authorities, University faculty, Research organisations and laboratories and I am a Fellow member of the Institution of Engineers (I)attached to Environment division. I have organized and taken classes for regular in-house training programs on Environment management and pollution control

* Represented VZS in seminor/work shop conducted by Visakhapatnam Steel plant /APPCB presented papers on Environment management (Jun 2002)-Paper presented at APPCB work shop adjudged as best paper among S.W mgmt. category.
* Independently managing the Environment Dept at VZS since 2000 including ISO 9001 & iso 14001 Jobs, and KPMG auditing jobs.
* Represented VZS for Environmental Review meetings with Dist.Collector.,M.S.APPCB, at Collectorate and a meeting on Environmental problems with World Bank authorities.
