- In addition to regular Production activity, actively participated in Production Planning and Product Development, Preventive Maintenance Scheduling etc.

Job Responsibilities
- Identifying and Evaluating various Development Projects in Chemical Mills, and Effluent Treatment Plant for achieving Production Optimization, Energy Rationalization and Compliance with Environmental Performance Norms.
- Carrying out Investment Planning, Time and Equipment Estimations for installing new machinery and revamping existing ones to cut costs and bring about reduction in Total Product Cycle Time.
- Project estimation, Techno-Financial Budget clearances & determining scope.
- Design & detailed Engineering drawings including PFD / PID for the Projects.
- Preparing B.O.M for the Project including Civil, Electrical and Instrument items, Identifying the Vendors, Tender Preparation, Price Negotiation, Contract Preparation and other related Purchase activities.
- Engaging Contractors, Work/Service Order Preparation etc.
- Coordination and Supervision of the technical work efforts of Project Consultants, Designers, Consultants, Civil / Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineers, Maintenance & Process Personnel, Production Unit Operators, Programmers and Contractors.
- Anchored all Onsite activities for Erection and Commissioning of Equipment to ensure completion within the scheduled time and cost parameters.
- Ensuring adherence to Statutory Compliance, Quality control, Safety and Health Standards.
- Reporting to the Director (Operations).

Projects Handled
- Involved in the Design, Fabrication and Erection of a Continuous Drum Filter of Size 14' long and 8' dia.
- Erected 3 numbers of Large Continuous Drum Filters of Size 10' long and 8' dia. with Chemical Reaction including all necessary Pumps and Piping.
- Designed and Executed a unique MLSS (Effluent Treatment Plant) Disposal System.
- Designed and Installed a system required for the Enzymatic Prebleaching of Wood Pulp in association with a Government R & D Organization.
- Designed and Erected a Hydrogen Peroxide Dozing System.
- Installed a Safe Chlorine Handling System which includes a Dynamic Chlorine Gas Mixer, Disperser and a Chlorine Tonner.
- Installed a large number of pumps (Centrifugal and Reciprocating) for Effluent, Water, Chemicals and Pulp including necessary Civil and Piping.
- Erected many Belt Conveyors with Structures for handling Bulk materials.
- Implemented Various Water Recycle Systems including a Chlorine Back Water System
- Installed a Screening Plant with a Pressure Screen in the Primary Stage, Gravity Screen in the Secondary Stage and one High Density Cleaner.
- Executed Fibre Recovery System which includes Erection of a Thickener.
- Involved in the Design and Erection of a Blow Heat Recovery System which saved a huge amount of Energy.
- Erected an 80 M2 HT Area Heat Exchanger with required Instrumentation, Piping and Pump.
- Erected a 120 M3 Pressure Reactor and 120 M2 Heat Exchanger with Structural Column Building and required Civil Work, Pump, Pipelines, Instrumentation, Electricals etc.
