High First Grade Bachelor Degree in Mathematics.
High First Grade and Third rank in Masters Degree in Oceanography.

EXPERIENCE
Œ Worked as a Project trainee-III at the National Institute of Oceanography, Regional centre, Kochi from August 2002 to April 15th 2003 under the project entitled "Marine Research - Living Resources (MR-LR)" assessment program funded by the Department of Ocean Development, Govt. of India.

Now working as a Junior Research Fellow in National Institute of Oceanography, Regional Centre, Kochi, under the project entitled "Marine Research - Living Resources (MR-LR)" assessment program funded by the Department of Ocean Development, Govt. of India.

Ž 180 days Cruise experience.
Worked in coastal data collection. Experienced in using Current meters and Tide gauges. And also well versed in data processing techniques.

ONBOARD EXPERIENCE
Participated in several research cruises onboard FORV Sagar Sampada covering the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal during which hydrological sampling was conducted to assess physical, chemical and biological oceanographic parameters.

Experience in handling various oceanographic instruments on board such as CTD, Autosal, ADCP, Autoanalyser, Dosimat Oxygen titration unit, PH Meter, Multiple Plankton Net, Bongo net etc.

PROJECT WORK DONE
Conducted a study on the recent problems and prospects of Coastal Zone especially in Fisheries, Energy and Agricultural sectors and developed a management program for the development of these sectors in the coastal zone
