Geologist: Geo Strata Environmental Consultants, Inc., San Antonio, Texas. January 2007 to April 2007. Conduct ESA Phase I and LPST field investigations. Prepare and submit ESA Phase I reports and a variety of TCEQ LPST-related reports. Review reports prepared by other staff. Supervise drilling of geoprobe and hollow-stem auger soil borings and the installation of monitoring wells. Gauge monitoring wells. Collect groundwater, soil and air samples. Conduct LPST Site remediation activities. Prepare and submit proposals to clients.

Projects included Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Geologic Assessments for Regulated Activities over the Edwards Recharge/Transition Zone, Cave Investigations, Endangered Species Investigations, Wetlands Investigations, Archeological Surveys and Heritage and Significant Tree Surveys.
Geologist: Los Alamos National Laboratory, Los Alamos, New Mexico. May 1996 to December 2005. Design and implement experiments and controls for the TRU Waste Gas Generation Hydrogen Getter Project, nuclear weapons tritium sequestration and NRC reactor products experiments. Conduct field groundwater tracer tests and conduct/direct supporting laboratory experiments for the Yucca Mountain Project and the Nevada Test Site Environmental Restoration Project. Collect and analyze field and laboratory groundwater and tracer test samples by multiprobe, colorimetry, LSC, ICP-AES, HPLC, IC, particle spectrometry, fluorescent microscopy, fluorometry and flow cytometry. Analyze and manipulate well core and cuttings. Assist in data evaluation and technical report writing. Supervise operations for the tracer transport laboratory and coordinate team quality assurance. Develop technical, safety and quality procedures. 2001 LANL Distinguished Performance Award winner as part of the YMP team.
Hydrogeologist: Science & Technology Management, Inc., Brookfield, Wisconsin. September 1995 to May 1996. Provide developer and user support, data entry and QA/QC for a graphical groundwater database interface program sponsored by the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). Assist in data analysis, report writing and project management. Submit topical article synopses for EPRINet. Draft report figures with AutoCAD LT.

Conduct Phase I, II and III Environmental Site Assessment investigations and prepare client reports. Conduct field remedial investigation and long-term monitoring activities such as maintaining and evaluating soil-vapor extraction systems, slug testing, groundwater and soil sampling, air sampling and analysis and fluid level measurement. Supervise monitor well drilling, installation and removal, geoprobe surveying, UST line upgrades and tank removals. Prepare and submit required permits for clients and regulatory agencies.
