CAREER HISTORY
Present: CopperEye – Information Services Manager (Technical Documentation and Training)
Developed the corporate documentation strategy. Designed and delivered documentation sets to global companies and intelligence agencies. Designed and delivered technical training in the UK and abroad. Scoped, configured and implemented SharePoint (MOSS 2007). Enhanced the company website to provide functionality for VAR /OEM and customer interaction. Provided guidance on marketing and localization.
2008: STMicroelectronics – Technical Author (contract)
Enhanced templates and produced data sheets and programming guides for STi5202 and STi7111 SoC set-top box decoders.

Produced various technical manuals for the Trent 500 jet engine. Trained staff in the use of FrameMaker.
1998-00: Cincinnati Machine Tools - Senior Technical Author
Produced various technical manuals for CNC machine tools. Translation consultant - managed over 800 publications in eight languages. Developed the first DTI-approved CD-ROM documentation for the machine tool industry which resulted in a six-figure reduction in print costs and helped the company to maintain its position as a market leader.
1994-98: Dennis Eagle - Senior Technical Author
Prepared documentation for vehicle type-approval and produced various technical manuals for production vehicles.
1984-94: MOD – ARMY Signals Detachment Commander/Instructor
Trained radio operators, maintained a signals detachment squadron and developed documentation within the JSP specifications. A secondary trade of supply specialist was used to co-ordinate, develop and document quality procedures for the receipt of military explosives and ammunition.
