Techno-Legal requirements on Environmental Issue
To protect and improve the natural environment following specific legislation are implementing in the Indian Industries
The Water (prevention and control of pollution) Act 1974; The Air (prevention and control of pollution) Act 1981; The Environment (protection) Act 1986; The Hazardous Waste (Management & Handling) Rules 1989; The Public Liability Act 1991.
To comply I can perform requirements of the Acts following activities in effective manner
- Obtain Consent to Establish, Consent to Operate, Apply for renewal of consent to operate, Submit the Water Cess Return
- Submit an Environmental Statement, Obtain prior Environmental Clearance form MoEF in case of a new project or for modernization/expansion of the existing project
- Obtain Grant of Authorization for Handling hazardous waste, Apply for renewal, Submit of annual returns
