The experience at IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) has provided a way through the complex maze of life at various levels. My stay in IIT Delhi has helped me inculcate academic skills as well as interpersonal and professional skills. SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) Project
Funded by SAE-IITD, Design of the wheels of the moving chair so as to minimize the deviation from the desired path.
Won the SAE Brain-wave award for this design
Electric Generating shoe
Sponsored by (NIF-Ahmedabad) National Innovation Foundation, Design of the mechanism to generate electricity for small scale application from shoe.
Display board
Design and fabrication of a stand for mechanism display board.
Screw jack
Design and fabrication of a screw jack with modified base.
Carpet cleaner
Design and fabrication of a semi-Automatic carpet cleaner.
Tribology-pre-stress (B-Tech. Project)
Design and fabrication of friction measuring instrument for threaded fasteners.
Online frictional torque measuring instrument developed. The instrument also takes into account the collar friction and the amount of preloading done is also known by the help of the instrument.
PATENT filed for this project.
SUMMER TRAINING/INTERNSHIP
RICO Auto Industries Ltd. (Gurgaon), India (summer 2005).
Reduced the rejection of the core plate (friction plate for clutch assembly) in the die casting process
Implementation of decision making models (Pareto) and 4M conditions fulfillment and looking into the root cause of the defect enabled to solve the problem.
National Innovation Foundation, Ahmedabad (NIF), India (summer 2003).
Worked with NIF and designed the mechanism to generate electricity for small scale application from shoe.
