As a former military mechanic with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (R.E.M.E) I have a sound technical knowledge regarding the inspection, maintenance and repair of Diesel engines, B vehicles and tracked plant. Combined with the management and organisational skills that I have developed over the last 12 years both within the military and from setting up and running my own business, and also from handling small teams with a strict deadline, I bring with me both the experience of implementing health and safety on the shop floor and in arduous working environments and skill set to undertake various positions. Having gained certification in both OSHA and NEBOSH it has brought together my skill set and will allow me to progress further my health and safety portfolio. I have recently been accepted into the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) also I am studying for my HNC in mechanical engineering ( correspondence course ).
