PRESENT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

a. Providing Level-2 support and technical advices to BSNL's SKYONE Broadband Gateway Operation Team. Also providing Level-3 and remote support to STPI's IPSTAR Broadband Gateway operations.
b. Configuration and trouble shootings of Backbone and Backhaul Links for Internet, MPLS and MLLN Networks to terminate at Gateway routers and Design, implement & manage the IP Addressing architecture & IP resource allocations.
c. Design customer required networks by using Visio software and configuration and implementation of the same (using MPLS or MLLN Circuits).
d. Configuration and trouble shootings of Broadband applications like VOIP, VPN, Video Conferencing / Streaming, IP Multicasting, I-Learning, Tele-Medicine, Etc.
e. Responsible for ongoing IPSTAR-NOC management to meet the service quality and availability goals.
f. Determine the Network Security requirements, upgrades, traffic capacity planning, monitor performance and proactively manage the traffic and network growth.
g. Investigate technical problems at gateway and customer side and expedite resolution.
h. Defining Gateway Hardware and Software infrastructure requirements for future services including Network Management architecture and fail-over facilities.
i. Establish, Review and update various operational functions, processes and procedures.
j. Manage Satellite Gateway Resources Utilizations – Bandwidth, equipments, Etc.
k. Control Gateway Configurations; analyze Gateway health, performance regularly.
l. Train, Develop and maintain personal to all required Gateway Operation activities.
m. Motivation and encouragement of positive team sprit.
n. Monthly reporting: GW Service Report, Resource Planning Report, Operations, performance and Service availabilities Report.
o. Maintain posture for timely to Gateway (NW|NMS|RF) / Service Problems to customers.
p. Oversee any non-routine Gateway Operations.
