3) Coconut mapping, yield modelling and forecasting using remote sensing and weather data for Coconut Development board, India.
4) Weather and satellite based insurance product development for Tea, Rubber plantation and wheat and potato crops in various districts of India for World Bank.
5) Weather based crop yield model development for various district of India. A project of Agriculture Insurance Company of India (AICI).
6) Livelihood alternatives and carbon sequestration assessment for three districts in Mozambique. A detail modeling and analytical assessment for forest and agriculture produces coupled with local market scenario to reduce pressure on dense forest patches. Funded by FAO and IUCN.
7) Forest type classification using multi-temporal LANDSAT ETM+ and TM-5 data.
8) Forest fire monitoring and intensity estimation using LANDSAT ETM+ and ASTER data in nearby areas of Loss Angles city, California USA. An internal R&D project for RMS Inc. USA.
9) Development of framework for the decision support system for agriculture planning.
10) Satellite based crop health monitoring and yield estimation for Tea plantation in Idukki district of Kerala, India" an Agriculture Insurance Company of India (AIC) funded project.
11) Satellite based crop health monitoring and yield estimation in Maharastra" an Agriculture Insurance Company Funded Project.
12) Satellite based wheat crop health monitoring and yield estimation in Punjab and Haryana" an Agriculture Insurance Company Funded Project. A project focused on insuring farmers' crop based on NDVI ranges.
13) Time series classification scheme for differentiation of General Paddy and Basmati Rice in Uttar Pradesh, Uttranchal, Punjab, Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir states of India.
14) Paddy (Rice Type) classification using IRS LISS – IV satellite imagery in Bareilly district of state Uttar Pradesh, India. The main objective of the project was to identify notified and non-notified varieties of Basmati Rice.
15) Rule based classification of thematic layers to achieve higher level of Land Use Land Cover classification.

Image Processing Skill Sets
1. Processing of satellite images of various sensors like LISS, IKONOS, QickBird, SPOT, ETM+ etc.
2. Data extraction and generation for various purposes like Land use land cover map generation at various scales
3. DEM generation using satellite images and other data sources
4. Various levels of mapping and map printing
5. Quality control and assessment as per client's and national and international guidelines.

Major Work Experience during academic and professional experience
 Worked as project assistant at Energy and Wetland Research Group, Center for Ecological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore on the project titled "Cumulative Impact Assessment of Sharavathi River" as a water soil and sediment analyst.
 Generated the drainage network for Sharavathi River catchment for morphometric analysis to know the hydrological behaviour.
 Carried out extensive ground truthing for wasteland site identification using GPS.
 Measured monthly stream flow of sixteen (16) major tributary of Sharavathi River
 Worked as an active member of Environmental Engineering Module development Team Funded by Common Wealth of Learning Canada.
 Worked as Team Leader in Environmental Impact Assessment of Durgambadi Bauxite Mines in Kolhapur Maharastra, India. A five-member team was exploring the probable impact of Bauxite mining on flora fauna and water resource in that area.
 Worked as expert in formulation of recommendations for Lake 2002, an International Symposium on conservation restoration and management of aquatic ecosystem at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore
