EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

Having 6+ years of experience in Lecturer (subject taken for Microbiology and Biotechnology) as well as Lab Analyst (Microbiology and Biotechnology). Having good experience and knowledge in the techniques of General Microbiology, Immunology, Systematic Medical Microbiology, Parasitology, Mycology, Virology, Laboratory Animal Care, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology and Applied Microbiology.

PROJECT WORK

1. ZOONOTIC DISEASE EFFECTS PUBLIC HEALTH

Samples were collected from different cattle farms and houses. Lizards, Rats, snakes, Cows, Horses, and Goats feacus were collected and cultured under laboratory conditions. Biochemical tests like Indole, MR, VP, Citrate, TSI, Urease and Sugar fermentation were done and it was concluded that most of the isolates belong to entero bacteriace family.

2. PREVALENCE OF HBsAg IN RURAL AND URBAN AREAS

Blood samples were collected from different hospitals that are located in rural and urban areas. Screening test (Hepa card) and ELISA test were done and it revealed that HBsAg affected most of the rural area people due to dense population and their ignorance.

Staining techniques, isolation of microorganisms from various sources and specimens, identification of microbes, qualitative and quantitative analysis of water, air sampling, MBRT, MPN culturing methods.

Blood grouping and Rh typing, widal test, double immunodiffusion test, pregnancy, ASO, RA, CRP, VDRL, RPR.

Different types of staining, identification of microbes from various samples, isolation and culturing techniques and various types of biochemical test.

PARASITOLOGY AND MYCOLOGY:

Identification of cysts, trophozoites etc, identification of fungi from various sources and specimen, isolation and culturing techniques.

VIROLOGY:

Isolation of Bacteriophage from screening (HIV and HBsAg) HIV screening (Tri dot method) HBsAg screening (Hepacard method) counter current immuno electrophoresis, haemagglutination inhibition test and egg inoculation.

LABORATORY ANIMAL CARE:

Handling of animals and inoculation of specimen by intravenous, intradermal, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intraperitonial ways.

MOLECULARBIOLOGY AND BIOTECHNOLOGY:

Isolation and visualization of genomic DNA paper chromatography, thin-layer, chromatography, and isolation of mutants, southern blot and western blot.

APPLIED MICROBIOLOGY:

Isolation and identification of micro-organisms from various food products like cool drinks, vegetables, biscuits, air, and water and soil samples.
