Fast Tract Young Scientist Scheme entitled "Ground Water Resources Development and Management in a Backward District of Srikakulam of Andhra Pradesh" sponsored by D.S.T. (Department of Science and Technology), New Delhi. (Ref. No. S.R./FTP/ES-64/2006, Dated 5-2-2007). In the Dept of Geology, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam-530003.
I have worked as a Principal Investigator Under S.E.R.C. Fast Tract Young Scientist Scheme entitled "Assessment and Management of Potential Recharge zones in Aquifers in the context of conjunctive use of Water in Sharada River Basin of Visakhapatnam District of Andhra Pradesh". Sponsored by D.S.T. (Department of Science and Technology), New Delhi. (Ref. No. S.R./FTP/ES-06/2003) From 15-05-2004 to 14-05-2007.
I have Three years (27-1-1999 to 26-1-2002) experience in the field of Ground Water Geology as a Research Fellow in DST Sponsored Project entitled "Assessment and Management of Ground Water Resources in parts of crystalline terrain of Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh".(Ref. No. ESS/72/023/98)
I have Research Experience in the field of hydrogeology since 1996. Awarded Ph.D. on "Occurrence and Geochemistry of Fluoride in Ground waters of a Typical Drought Prone Area of Andhra Pradesh, India" in1999.
I have taken Practical training on various aspects of groundwater surveys, well inventory, Geophysical Surveys, Electrical Logging, Aerial photo Interpretation and Drilling activities from the Andhra Pradesh State Groundwater Department, Rajahmundry, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. (29th May 1994 to 2nd July 1994)
Dissertations in M.Sc., Geology entitled "Geology and Genesis of Precambrian rocks from Borra Complex, Visakhapatnam District". And in post M.Sc., (Tech) entitle "Hydro Geological conditions in and around Sivajipalem Area in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh" submitted to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.
