As an Underground Mine Geologist, part of my expertise includes progressive geologic, and mining management of deep underground mining operations incorporating mine exploration, development, and expansion through executed safe operation. My professional technical writing, and formal presentation abilities can make me a valuable asset to the organization. Responsibilities included daily mapping and sampling of Mechanized and Conventional stopes and development drifts. Quantitative & qualitative grade control. Report recommendations for improved mining practice in all headings. Utilized computer software (ACAD, Gemcom) for geologic interpretations of vein structures and ore bodies producing representative maps and models. Developed new version of grade control maps that are now made after each successive cut. Trained new Mine Geologists. Assist in supervision of car sampling of all underground headings. Maintained QA/QC on diamond drill samples. Assist in creation of company formal presentations. Guided company tours underground. Logging and sampling of diamond drill core.
