Key responsibilities as a Training Officer:
-Formulate standardized training and development policies, procedures, documents and improvement plans based on identified organizational needs.
-Direct and coordinate training activities as they apply to the implementation of new programs, initiatives or applications.
-Formulate and implement training needs analysis, training plan, training calendar and training budget in accordance with the organization's business plan.

-Arrange for periodic safety inspections and risk assessments to be carried out.
-Ensure that all accidents, incidents and work related ill health are recorded to investigate such incidents in order to determine what measures need to be taken to prevent a re-occurrence.
-Administrate contract development and health & safety plan.
-Ensure that the company has arrangements in place for the safe storage of materials and equipment.
-Give advice to members of staff on safe working procedures and practices.
