Job Description: Function: Provides total emergency medical care and similar duties; assist, monitor & ensure the application & implementation of HSEA Standards of the Company in a crew working in the Rub Al Kali, with South Rub Al Kali (SRAK) Management, Shell, TOTAL & SAUDI ARAMCO as clients.
-Ensure the delivery of the Health Care services include among others the following:
-Physical assessment and health interview within the scope of nursing responsibility.
-Assist the HSEA in implementing HSE Standard set by the company and the client.
-First Aid care
- Medical supplies monitoring within the area of responsibility.
- Dispensing of medicines.
- Assistance in the transport of ill/injured to hospitals.
- Coordination and facilitation of patient's referral to specialists.
- Maintenance of medical records.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of bi – monthly emergency rescue drill of the site rescue team.
- Attend to the company's meetings, medical & safety audits and quality assurance sessions.
- Assist in training the site rescue team in using medical equipments such as air splint, cervical collar, oxygen therapy, automated external defibrillator (AED), vacuum splint, KED, and pulse oximeter.
- Conduct health education campaign to the construction worker every week during toolbox meeting.

HSE Responsibilities
-Aside from the medical responsibilities, I also help in maintaining the HSE Standard of the company. Ensuring that fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, first aid kits, trauma bags, water sanitation & treatments, fire alarms (hand & electrical), and medical equipment and supplies are always available and updated. Ensuring camp hygiene and doing regular inspection of food supplies and food handlers are physically fit for the job.
-Have a good background in the maintenance & operations of GPRS, Vehicular Tracking System (VTS), VHF Radio, and Satellite Link System.
-With training in Safe Desert Driving & Defensive Driving Off Road.
-Check & Inspect Food delivery Truck upon arrival for temperature, expiration dates, food item quality etc..
-Give Safety Camp Induction to New arrivals & visitors.
-Complete incident/accident form.
-Coordinates Pre - MEDEVAC arrangements with the nearest hospital.
-Conducts Daily Camp Inspection with the Camp Boss to identify Health Hazards around the Camp.
-Formulate Standard Operating Procedures with regards to Safety.
-Knowledgeable in MSDS.
