1. JT Metro JV, Dubai Metro Rail Project, Obayashi Corporation, Dubai

As Document Controller

Currently (since 2008 February) working with JT Metro JV (Obayashi Corporation, Dubai Branch) for Dubai Metro Rail Project, 2nd phase, Dubai, UAE as Document Controller. The Company involves to construct and handover the Metro Railway Project to DURL (Dubai Rapid Link Consortium), UAE.

Important Responsibilities
Having experience with Document Management Systems for control, issue, reporting and filing of Project and Engineering documentation such as Design Drawings & Shopdrawings, Method Statements, Operation Manuals, Material Submittals, Sample Submittals, RFIs, Purchase Documents, Payment Certificates, Letters & Transmittals etc. Having thorough knowledge in "Aconex Software Programme" as well as MS office to control documents.
Issue and control of documents including tracking and monitoring of the approval status of documents and reporting of document status to the Project Manager.
Recording all incoming and outgoing correspondence, drawings, specifications, minutes of meetings and other project documentation and filing accordingly. Organize copies of Hard & Softcopy Documents of Incoming and Outgoing effectively; prepare & maintain accurate records of the receipts and issues of Transmittals.
Preparation of the Transmittals for Method Statements, Drawings, Letters etc. and its submission to Clients, Subcontractors in time through network system.
Notify and Issue of all received documents to concern personnel in the Project in time. Liaise with the Project Management to identify priorities and appropriate treatment of information incoming and outgoing.
Maintain effectively security, archiving of all electronic, hard copy documentations, and their retrieval when required.
Monitoring all RFIs, NOCs and Test Certificates of Equipments etc.
Maintain the Project Team to receive the updated documents especially Drawings and Method Statements.
Help to prepare the Method Statements, Operations Manuals, Subcontract Agreements and relevant documents.
Preparations of Documents' follow up records and its updation on Weekly basis. Producing regular reports of outstanding actions and responses on correspondence.
Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Aconex. Having more than 70 WPM typing speed in MS word. Have more than eight years of Gulf experience: as Document Controller in two Projects of Construction and Engineering Industry and as Secretary to Operations Manager in a Petrochemical Company. Have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner. Follow instructions/schedules/timelines and handle multiple priorities.

2. Consolidated Contractors Company (Kuwait) W.L.L., Kuwait

As Document Controller

From 2006 June to 2008 January worked as "Document Controller" with M/s. Consolidated Contractors Company (Kuwait) W. L. L., Kuwait for their OL2K Ethylene Plant Construction Project. Company involved constructing an Ethylene Plant for TKOC ("The Kuwait Olefins Company", Kuwait) in their Shoiba Refinery Area with main Contractor M/s. TECHNIP Italy.

Important Responsibilities

Receiving, controlling, updating and distribution of documents such as Drawings, Method Statements, Transmittals, Letters and Invoices of hard & soft copies as per the Company Approved Procedures.
Updation of all Incoming and Outgoing Documents (Client and Subcontractors) in internal developed software/document register.
Kept a track on Documents, Reports, Submittals and Minutes of Meetings & submition of the Weekly Report to the Superiors.
Filing of all documents as per the procedure provided by company.
Compiling project documentations including Installation, Operations & Maintenance Operation, and Project Start-up Manuals.
Follow-up and expediting technical documents & certificates from Suppliers.
Attend bid clarification meeting and project meetings where required.
Attending the meetings with Client (M/s. Technip Italy) and preparation & distribution of the Minutes of Meeting.
Distribution of documents (Drawings, Method Statements and Letters Etc.) in time to concern personal of Client, Subcontractor and Project Personnel.

3. SABIC R&D Complex, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

As Secretary to Plant Operations Manager

Approximately 5 years (from 1993 August to 1998 April) worked as Secretary in Plant Operations Department in Sabic R&D Complex (A Petrochemical Research Plant), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This R&D complex is researching mainly various types of Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Poly Vinyl Chloride products and other petrochemicals with technical collaboration with world leading companies such as UCC, Shell Oil Chemicals etc.

Important Responsibilities

All Secretarial jobs to Plant Operations Department, Operations Manager and Engineers.
Preparation of Letters, Attending the Internal Meetings and preparation of its Minutes of Meetings and its distribution.

4. Bharath Shell Ltd, Mumbai, India

As Logistic In-charge

Approximately 6½ years (from February 2000 to May 2006) worked as Logistic In-charge in a warehouse of Bharath Shell Ltd, a leading Lubricating Oil Manufacturing Company in India (a subsidiary company of Shell Oil Co. UK), through Arpejay Enterprises, Mumbai.

Important Responsibilities

Collection of orders for lubricating oils (approx. 750 KL per month) from Dealers and Distributors from Western Region Sales Territory of India and its execution in time.
Maintenance and monitoring of Stocks in warehouse regularly.
